This establishment has so much potential, but unfortunately, their customer service is holding them back. I always make sure to leave a great tip and a positive review, but my experiences here have been disappointing.
I’ve visited twice now. On my first visit, I ordered the salmon crêpe, which came with the Parmesan mousse. It was delicious, and it’s my favorite dish there, along with the cinnamon roll and the Strawberry tart.
On my second visit, I ordered the salmon crêpe again, this time with a large pizza. However, the pizza was much smaller than I expected. It looked like a medium pizza, but it was actually a small one. I was a bit disappointed because I had paid $17 for a large pizza.
We also placed an online order for the pizza, but we didn’t dine in. I had assumed that the service and items would be the same whether we dined in or ordered online, but that wasn’t the case.
The Parmesan mousse was watery and not as good as I had hoped. My husband had just walked into the restaurant, picked up the order, and come back out when I called inside. I asked the owner if she could please correct the mousse, and my husband came back to make sure he got it.
The only issue with my order was the mousse. My husband’s pizza was not cooked all the way, but the owner went ahead and remade it. I told her no, I didn’t need the food to be remade. I just wanted to heat it in the oven to cook it completely. I only needed to be compensated for the mousse.
To make matters worse, the container the owner had put the mousse in was filthy. When my husband went back in the second time to get the mousse, it was still runny. He brought it out to me, and it looked the same. I was called back and explained that I hadn’t appreciated the food I was served. She stated that she would credit me back the full amount we paid and that would be the end of it. This happened on Sunday, and it’s now Friday. No refund has been issued. I called the establishment and spoke to the same woman who answered the phone. I assume she’s the owner. To my surprise, she had blocked my number. So, I had to use my husband’s phone to call the restaurant. After trying to jog her memory of who I was, she finally started explaining that the cream melted because it was hot outside. However, I explained that the moose had just left the restaurant by the time he got to the car, which we parked right outside. The moose should have remained in the same condition as it was made. I even mentioned that I felt like she had blocked my number. She accused me of being loud and angry and rushed me off the phone. My husband then received a text message indicating that a refund would be issued to him. This should have been done on Sunday, but it wasn’t. I will never die at this establishment...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Paulette Café, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. This charming French restaurant not only offers incredible food but also delivers amazing service that truly sets it apart.
The team at Paulette Café is incredibly knowledgeable about their menu, providing insightful recommendations and answering any questions with enthusiasm and expertise. Our waiter, Michael, was particularly helpful and knowledgeable about the menu, ensuring that our dining experience was both enjoyable and informative.
The presentation of the food was nothing short of artful. Each dish was beautifully crafted, making it almost too stunning to eat. However, the flavors were just as delightful as the visual appeal, making every bite a true pleasure.
And let's not forget the desserts! The sweet treats at Paulette Café capture the essence of French patisserie with exquisite taste and presentation.
Additionally, the owner, Natalie, is incredibly sweet and kind, adding a personal touch to the overall experience. Her dedication to quality and customer satisfaction is evident, and it truly enhances the welcoming atmosphere of the café.
We dined with a diverse group, including our son and his girlfriend, a very good friend of our daughter's, and my husband and I, spanning ages from 20s to 50s. Everyone loved the food, proving that Paulette Café has something to delight every palate.
I had the French dish Croque Madame, which was heavenly, along with a Sunrise Mimosa. My husband and our son both enjoyed the Country French. Our son's girlfriend indulged in the Crème Brûlée Pancakes, while our daughter's friend had the French Crêpe. We all savored Sunrise Mimosas and cappuccinos. Everything was wonderful.
They also helped make my birthday special, adding an extra layer of joy to our visit.
If you have a chance, I highly recommend making a reservation. We chose the restaurant at 9 PM the night before our brunch, so they were closed at the time. There weren’t any real tables available when we arrived, but Michael kindly asked a couple if they would move to a table for two and thanked them graciously, which gave us enough room to eat. However, next time we'll be sure to make a reservation to ensure we have a table ready when we arrive.
Overall, Paulette Café is a gem of a restaurant, offering a genuine taste of France right here. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience. I will definitely be...
Read moreGood experience with Minor Hiccups On my first visit to Paulette café, I was immediately struck by the inviting atmosphere and charming surroundings, which set a positive tone for the meal. The ambiance was warm and welcoming, creating an ideal backdrop for a relaxed dining experience. However, our server appeared slightly flustered, which occasionally impacted the flow of service but did not overshadow the overall visit. The culinary offerings were a highlight, with the Quiche Lorraine standing out as a flavorful centerpiece. Ordered by both my wife and myself, the quiche was delectably prepared, showcasing a rich, savory profile that was enjoyable whether served hot or cold. Unfortunately, the dish arrived inconsistently heated—semi-warm with noticeably cold patches—which created a moment of confusion for us as diners. After bringing this to our server’s attention, we received a sincere apology, and the quality of the quiche itself remained impressive enough to mitigate the issue. The coffee, while flavorful, was served at a temperature slightly cooler than ideal, though I consumed it promptly and found it satisfactory. On a brighter note, the dessert selection was exceptional, offering a variety of tempting options that added a sweet finish to the meal. Overall, Paulette café delivered a commendable dining experience with a few minor shortcomings. The reasonable pricing, coupled with the inviting atmosphere and strong menu offerings, ensures this establishment is worth a return visit. With a bit of polish, particularly in ensuring consistent food temperatures, this restaurant has the potential to shine. I look forward to giving it another chance to impress.
