Come Home Eatery (Located inside the Shell Gas Station) — Restaurant in East Point

I’m starting to suspect that the yummiest food in Atlanta is to be found in spots attached to gas stations🤭 Come Home Eatery is no exception! If I’m in the SWATS early morning then I can count on them for a quick, yummy breakfast w/my choice of bacon, sausage, biscuits, salmon croquettes, grits, and eggs (made to order). Stop by before 11am because they sell out!

Lunch and dinner are both consistently delicious, including the (fall off the bone) BBQ chicken, ribs, (double portion) meatloaf, baked salmon over black beans & corn, cabbage, green beans, and (so d@mn good) macaroni & cheese! As you can see, they don’t skimp on the portions. All made with love. All available for meal prep because Tonya caters too!

Come Home Eatery

A friend and some of his friends had visited this business one two occasions and kept talking about how good the food was. I visited this business on 8/6/25 because I was hungry for some vegetables and didn’t want to cook. I purchased two meals…one was a vegetable plate and one plate had vegetables and pork neck bones. The soul food was the best experience I’ve had in some time. The cabbage, macaroni and cheese and lima beans were great. They weren’t salty nor did they have sugar in them. ALL THEY HAD WAS FLAVOR. The broth on the neck bones was not dark and they weren’t salty but were FULL of flavor. The cornbread was NOT sweet and was delicious. And to add to everything else, the portions were great. I’ll add photos next time but when I tell y’all that you should run to this place if you want real good food! I’ll be very transparent & say I don’t eat out of gas station restaurants but I saw numerous people at the counter so I decided to look. When I saw how good the food looked I decided to give it a try. The owner is a beautiful sweet spirt & definitely loves getting acquainted with her customers. I was on some big back stuff & wanted to try everything so she put together a platter & it was tremendous! I’m mad I don’t live in the immediate area but it’s definitely worth me making a trip. The key lime 2 layer cake & lemon pound cake topped it off & just like the food they were delicious! I’m so glad I stopped to get gas because I’ve found a place I can get real good home...
