In short, this area has several other choices for pizza ... pick any one of them instead of this store.
Tonight we had our third consecutive bad experience after ordering from this location every week for at least the last year. All of the incidents were service related, but it hasn’t been the drivers, who are always delightful. The problem is the operational group that stays at the store. Sure, the pizza tastes like Dominos pizza, but the service falls well short of Dominos service.
After waiting for an hour for our delivery order (for our two kids), my wife called the store to see how much longer it would be. The girl who answered the phone, Brianna (sp?) said “He’s on his way”, offered no apology, and then hung up the phone. 20 minutes later, the pizza still hadn’t arrived, even though we live 5 minutes away, so we called again. The same girl answered and again offered no apology, said “He’s on his way”, at which point my wife asked for a full refund and the manager’s name. The pizza eventually did arrive, 90 minutes after it was ordered.
It’s so funny that Domino’s is currently running this big ad campaign about managers who run out of the store to make things right when expectations aren’t met. It seems that culture doesn’t exist at this Domino’s, and it’s really unfortunate. We will be going elsewhere for our weekly pizza run, and recommend anyone reading this do the same until corporate comes in and overhauls...
Read moreI ordered a 3 topping large pizza with sausage, green peppers, and onions. There were 6 small crumbles of sausage and 7 small strips of green pepper. "Come On" Dominos Corporate, get your quality control in order and start holding the store owners accountable for the quality of the pizza they sell with your name on it. Also tell your store to stop skimping on the toppings - that is poor and a dirty business practice. They are killing your brand. This is outrageous from a company that grew through its catholic/christian values in its corporate philosophy. This makes me want to go back to papa johns, unwillingly, even with all their cultural issues. And the last time when I picked up the pizza, the older gentleman hands me the pizza box and says " Here you go" without a thank you or any other words of appreciation. I hope he sensed the sarcasm when I replied "Thank you for choosing Dominos".
Update 2 weeks later: Kyle, the director of operations, sent me a note wanting the order inforrmation. Sent it right away, but true to form, there was no reply from Kyle. Looks like managment is also to blame for the poor customer service at the staff level and the management level. How is the quality ever going to get better if the follow through from management is so poor and the lack of taking any accountability. Looks like Papa Johns seems ot be a...
