This place is a gem. The tuna salad was an excellent dish, the tuna was moist and tasty with great flavors and the salad had plenty of pepitas, dried cranberries, and some of other goodies, I do have to say that is one of the best salads I've had, I compare it to the mixed restaurants you find around the city of San Francisco for portions and tastiness. The Mac and cheese were good, you get 4 and they are definitely not sharable because they are so good. We forgot the name of the Mac and cheese but it had mushrooms and bacon, it was also excellent. The kale salad wasn't tossed, maybe it was stated on the menu but they had no problem tossing it for us. I do have to say that the frisky cocktail didn't taste as good as we were hoping and the fries were super salty especially the regular fries but the garlic fries tasted good. The service was outstanding, Jessica was prompt on taking our orders, she was friendly and had a legitimately kindness in her voice, she helped us with the menu and was not pushy. She kept checking on us regarding the quality of the food and asking if we needed anything else, she was presentable and clean. I didn't get to interact with the bartender but they seem nice too, maybe next time. We will be staying around but we might come back before we leave because, well, it's obvious we loved it.

Thank you for the...

In typical Tahoe Chic the interior is wood and metal, I think really fancy Chipotle. The seats were uncomfortable, but at least a metal chairs had wood seats.

My food was pretty decent, the burger was big, as advertise and the fries were drenched in garlic oil.. I'd say the burger was a little dry though, kinda hard not to be when it's that big. I also got some honey rings because I split the burger with my partner, the onion rings were excellent. The homemade ranch that came with was fantastic.

Matter of fact all of the sauces were homemade and probably the best part of the meal, even the ketchup was homemade it had a wonderful vinegar the same to it with a nice thick consistency. Garlic aoli is a must.

Our friends got the grilled cheese lobster sandwich and a Caesar salad, apparently the Caesar salad was flavorful but too dry and the kale it came with wasn't tender. Your grouchy sandwich seemed to be pretty decent a quick bite showed that they went a little soft on the lobster and for the price you'd expect it to be chock-full of the stuff, then again it is Tahoe.

On that note I have to reiterate it's lake Tahoe and we went pretty late at night, they were the only place open at the time. You're paying for it the scenery expect $16 to $20 burgers $10 fries however the onion rings were only $6 and...

Service was horrible. We went with our family after having the same issue at Rosie’s due to racism. We got seated and were given the menu. A white big lady was our waitress. We noticed people coming and getting sat down at their tables. Mind you we sat outside the restaurant. She immediately gave them water. Something she didn’t do with us. She finally took our order. She brought the other table their drinks. We waiting a while to finally get them. Then she took the order. After a little while the kids got their food. We waited and waited. The other group of 8 got their food. We were upset. Ask the waitress what’s going on with our food and was told oh the ticket wasn’t given to the cook. Ok.but the kids got their food. This is when we got really upset. We got up and told we didn’t want the food anymore and it was so dissatisfied with her service. I still paid for my grandkids food and drinks which came up to $66 ridiculous. And I made sure to put $0 on her tip and wrote for bad service due to waitress. It’s ugly how much racism there is still. I will make sure to let all my friends who love Tahoe and family never to support this place. I will make sure to let all my friends and followers on social media...

I loved the idea of this place per their menu. Wanted to go somewhere that would be fast and simple and not as expensive as the resorts. Well, this place did not deliver. It took FOREVER on a Thursday night. It wasnt that busy. The servers were wonderful, but the kitchen must have some serious issues. You only make a few items, it cant be that hard. Lamburger sounded amazing. Came out with very little brie or aioli, was way over cooked, the fires were cold, dry, and hard, and the other burger was better prepared, but it still wants worth the wait or the cost. All the burgers come with JUST the burger. Everything else is extra. Which would be fine if it was good. Anyway, maybe it was a bad night or someone had a hard day skiing, but I wouldn't go back.
