Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Contiguous United States

I have loved Jersey Mike’s subs for many years especially my local location in Gainesville, Fl. This location however puts Mikes name to shame. I must add I’m usually visiting Mike’s once a week. The staff was not friendly and not considerate of my food related restrictions. I had to ask them many times to wipe specific pieces of equipment to compensate for me. One particular staff member proceeded to get very irritated and short with me, while another team member had to also step in to help resolve.This has never been an issue at any other locations.

The sub was (no pun intended) sub-par. Felt like an average “Subway,” sub that lacked greatly in sustenance. When it came to toppings I asked to have it “mike’s way,” as I always do. I thought this was a simple enough request.. well, no it was not. She made me ask her for each individual topping and just tossed it on with no organization. She then proceeded to cover the entire outside of my sandwich with oil and vinegar. I paid $15 and ate my sub that taste like a $5 foot long.. and left hungry due to lack of actual food.

To top off this inglorious Jersey Mike’s experience, I went to the trash can.... no trash bag.

Stay away from this location.

As always, my regular sandwich was awesome! I brought along a friend who was excited to get a giant chicken cheese steak - custom made! Well, when we got home, hers was ALL WRONG! She is not the type to complain so she just gave it to her roomie. No mushrooms but plenty of jalapenos! I was sad for her. Hopefully she will try again. UPDATE- We went back the following week. When walking into the store we received a friendly greeting, even though they were busy. I got my 'regular' and my friend ordered the sandwich that she wanted from above. We had reached out to the management and were offered a sandwich on the house so we knew that hers would be free. EVERYONE there was friendly and efficient! Ordered a sub. Got a quarter of a mini. Ordered wheat got white. Soggy. Tomato paper thin and rotten. When I called they said they only make so many wheat rolls and when they are out they send what they have! I replied then they should say I’m the website that it is not available. However they can toggle off under choices gluten free or not. Don’t take my money and not give me what I ordered and say we did everything right and you have to co tact DoorDash. The sun was wrong and they wanted me to take it up with DoorDash. I will never ever do business again. I will instruct all friends to do the same. I am not picky. It takes a lot to call and complain for me but to be met with such indifference and not offer to at least replace or refund is outrageous....
