Winn-Dixie — Local services in Saint Augustine

Nothing wrong with the staff here. In my experience, Winn Dixie is a tad over priced on there products, and their locations are a bit dumpy. I happened to stop on a rainy night, and there were some shady looking characters hanging out under the awning. I just wanted to rent a movie at the Redbox, but my kid had to use the bathroom so we popped in for a minute. Walked past another shifty character, who had a couple of things in his hands and looked like he was just picking up random stuff to appear busy. A couple of minutes later, he came around the corner of the bathroom hallway with items in hand. He jumped, obviously surprised to see me, then greets me and sets the items by the bathroom door. My kid walked out after that, with shifty guy not too far behind us. Maybe it was just bad timing, but I wouldn't go back to this store again. Especially at night. Too many better stores to...

I waited at customer service for 10 minutes with no one in sight I kindly asked a person at a register if a manager was available and she said it would b a few minutes I waited about 15 minutes & a kind young man finally approached he obviously was new and not properly trained. he was unsuccessful completing my lottery transaction and called a manager Danielle appears & was dismissive to him and me actuallly ignoring me and choosing to walk away to help a person behind Me who had only waited 5 minutes but I waited 15 minutes to cash a 25 dollar lottery ticket because Danielle refused to help her new co worker finish my transaction and I had to call her back to help when he was unable she’s got a terrible attitude god bless the new employee thst he can put up with this ridiculous behavior she tried to blame the stores problems on her...

Mr. Tony, Mr. Jamie, Ijon, and Mr. Steve all displayed SUPERIOR customer service etiquette! Ijon took my students and I on a very EXCITING, INFORMATIVE & COLORFUL tour of the facility!

It's nice to know that the representatives over the floral area, the Produce department, the Deli and the Bakery care that their areas are beautiful to the eye, and that everything is in stock for us (the customers)!

I would be remiss to not mention Mr. Tony, Mr. Jamie, and Mr. Steve's compassion for the community that they serve!

My students are participating in my Business Literacy, Math, and Reading enrichment program for the summer at Woodlawn Terrace Apartments from 6/13-8/9, and these gentlemen did not feel it robbery to invite us over to learn about their facility although they were busy managing the store.
