Was okay. I prefer a smooth marinara sauce and Olive Garden does not have one. Was busy, but they found us a table within minutes. It took a very long time for us to get our beverages, but that was due to a salad bowl slipping out of waitress's hand and all over the woman behind me! I had chicken parmesan and chicken gnocchi soup. My soup did not come out the same time as her salad. In fact, took so long that I told them to just package it to go for me. Main course looked delicious, pasta was delicious, sauce was okay (minus the chunks.) My biggest complaint about this experience is my chicken parmesan tasted like it had been fried in oil that hot peppers had just been fried in and it ruined the taste of the whole dish. Lots of delicious cheese! After I was surprised by the spiciness of my chicken parmesan, I had some of the meatballs I'd ordered as well. Okay, I get it. Some people must like spicy meatballs. I don't know if there was just too much pepper in the meatball mix or what. But my Italian dish was damn near spicy as Mexican! I had not been to an Olive Garden in over 15 years before this experience, I cannot see any reason why I would return. In fact, I didn't even bother to bring my left overs in from the car with me. Now it's hours later and I'm trying to decide if I want to spend even more money than I just wasted on McDonald's because I'm now hungry from having barely eaten. Honestly, I would exchange a gift card for this place, were it were given to me. In spite of me not enjoying my food, my shirt's now also stained, our poor waitress that spilled the salad onto the customer was still shakingly nervous while pouring my coffee, so it ended up on my shirt. But having been a former restaurant employee myself, I could feel nothing but bad for her so. Yeah....
Read moreLITERALLY RUINED MY MOTHERS DAY... So let's just start with the fact that I'm pregnant!. I placed an order at about 3pm. My husband got to the restaurant at 3:35 and sat in the parking lot for over an hour and a half before they even accepted our online order!! Order wasn't accepted until about 4:55 pm. The lady running orders outside came to the car literally twice to ask him about his order and never came back.. finally at 5 pm after the order was accepted the manager did let us know they were a little bit behind but then a half hour goes by and still no one comes to him. Oh also with the manager saying they'd personally bring it outside lol. That was another fun part. And literally my husband had to go in and out of the store about 4 times to check on aCURBSIDE order and the manager even wanted to know what was going on and why he's running back and forth. All to sit for another hour and 10 minutes after being told at 5:30 it would be another 10 minutes. Lil. He was handed our 3 pm to go order at 6pm at noght!!!!!! Oh and let's keep in mind. I ordered a BOWL OF SPUP. AND HE ORDERED STEAK ALFREDO. STEAK TAKE 4 MINUTES ON EACH SIDE and the soup is basically y ALREADY MADE.....THREE HOURS.... THREE HOURS....I WILL NEVER RETURB. BUSY OR BOT THWY DONT DESERVE MONEY. then we asked for our money back after about 2 hours and 45 minutes of waiting to just be notified that they can't do anything because the general manager isn't there. So... I will NOT be going back. All they did was offer me a free desert.... that doesn't make up for the 3 hours taken away from me and my family on mothers day... that doesn't replace my family's time together..... highly highly upset and will not return back.... super...
Read moreI just came from Olive Garden, there were 3 groups of people who were paying for their own bill. I ordered mine and I said I would like a salad and bread sticks with my meal. As well as the others. Salads came for to two other groups. I did not get mine. I was told to share with the others. Even though I said I would like my own as I paying for it. By the time I got some salad it was the left overs of the others noting left, and bone dry. I went to find some new but no one to be found. I did speak with check in girl and asked for a salad and dressing. Well that came10 minutes later. It was not busy. Only about 4 tables. So the dinners came everyone else had their salads , we did not eat the bread sticks as they were old and hard. I still waited for my salad. I ordered fettuccine and it was dry and stuck together. And it was not all fettuccine it was spaghetti. I did get my salad after my fettuccine came. We asked for hot bread sticks as the ones we had were cold and hard. The waitress didn't seem to care. So when it came time leave, she brought boxes for everyone. I got one so I had to wrap them in a napkin. Others gots bags. I had to grab a box from someone else to put my salad in. Needless to say we did not like our meal. $22.00 for Alfredo spaghetti not fettuccine. Cold hard bread sticks. And no salad with dressing. I use to love Olive Garden. Never again. It was not busy at all and this was almost 5 pm. So I guess that said it all. Not like it use to be...
