Just for the price I gave it 3 stars and also the quality of food. It is better than most, however this particular visit was about the quality of the steaks. I'm not sure if they are certified Angus or not, but ordering my bone-in ribeye (midrare) and my wife ordering the regular ribeye(medium) I felt as if the steaks should have almost melted in my mouth. The flavor was there, however the quality of meat was not, especially for the price. I will try this steakhouse again. But beings that it is in Boardman and for the price that I paid for our dinner, I feel that the quality has room for improvement. Our waitress was great, very attentive and never allowed our glasses to be empty, both from regular soft drinks to our bar drinks. Lastly, the welcoming staff at the front was great and personable, however there were a few other waiters/waitresses up from talking amongst themselves about personal issues and events, none of which I would care to hear upon walking in to sit and enjoy our escape from reality for just one dinner. Read moreForgot why I had not been here in a couple years. Decided to take my 3 children to dinner. Called to confirm wait time, which I was told was 30 min, so I added my name to the "call ahead seating" and said we would be there in less than 10 min. Arrived, confirmed our seating and began to wait. 30 min goes by and the family sitting next to us, who came in after us, went up to the hostess and asked how long.... She said that she won't give them a time but there were 19 people ahead of them....so they left. Along with others. This of course made me curious. I went up to check on our status because it has now been 45 min and my kids were starving. The hostess said there were 7 people in front of me. I told her to remove us from the list and we were leaving and that we had been waiting over 45 min and had call ahead seating. She replied with, "you had call ahead seating??" I also told her that the next time someone calls to see how long the wait is, don't tell them 30 min when it clearly is not!! Be considerate of people especially with small children. Read moreI had a 5-star experience at this location. My server, Samantha, was wonderful She knew exactly what to recommend, showing both excellent menu knowledge and the ability to read her guests.
I ordered the filet mignon from the premium cuts menu, and I have to say, it was cooked to perfection. In my experience, medium-rare steaks often come out either overcooked or underdone, but the chef here truly knew what they were doing. It was spot-on.
I personally enjoy A1 steak sauce with my steak, and usually I can’t eat steak without it. But this filet was so flavorful that I barely used any sauce at all, and honestly, it would have been just as delicious without it.
The food looked as good as it tasted, and the décor created a very pleasant dining atmosphere. What really stood out, though, was the service. Managers were walking around greeting guests, checking on servers, and making sure meals were enjoyable. You could tell the staff genuinely cared about their work and even seemed to enjoy it.
