Condado Tacos — Restaurant in Boardman

I order from here regularly but always come in and order and sit at the bar and have a drink. I've never been unsatisfied. Tonight I was at work and wouldn't have had time to get there before they closed so I decided to order online for once and have a friend pick it up for me. I could not find what I normally order on the online menu and frankly it was frustrating and annoying so I called the restaurant. The girl who answered the phone told me that I could not make an order over the phone and that I needed to do it online. I asked her if she could help me find what I was looking for on the menu because I was having a hard time and that's the whole reason I called. She sent me to the manager. The manager was very kind and answered my question but I still had to order it online. (Taking 3 times the amount of time it would have taken if they just took my very simple order over the phone 4 tacos and queso.....) Anyhow when I got my tacos I ordered 2 Sweet Lucy's (the ones from the preferred menu that come as is) and two build your own. These were 4 of the smallest tacos I've ever received from here and I paid $35 and tipped! I am not happy. This will be a snack for me and my bf who thought this would be our dinner. We order the same thing every time and are always satisfied . I'm very very disappointed. I work in food and have managed. And this customer service just wasn't it (from the chick who answered the phone). The menu online sucks if I'm being honest. It's too confusing. I would like a refund or a store credit. I never in my life have written a bad review for ANYWHERE in my life.....but I'm starving and just got off my job and have no food at home and this will barely make a dent in my hunger yet alone a grown man who I was ordering for as well.

When someone calls and is having a hard time ordering online it's really not that difficult to make a small exception to write down a order over the phone. I am still dumb founded by this practice. It was 30 mins till the closing time and I get it ..y'all wanna get out of there but for a returning customer I am beyond aggravated....and hungry so that doesn't help.

I don't know if I'll be returning. What a waste of money and time and frustration for four skimpy tacos with no...

Update: Within 24hrs of writing this review I received a phone call and was offered an apology and a full refund. I just want to reiterate that the food in my opinion has always been exceptional and I just had a bad experience with takeout. The call goes a long way to me and I greatly appreciate them trying to make it right.

Been here multiple times and the food has always been excellent. So today I ordered take out for a specific time because I had a drive. I was 6 min late and when I got there I saw it was already sitting on the shelf. Nbd. But when I got to the car I tried a pice of the chicken and it was ice cold. So I checked the tacos and felt no heat at all. I walked back in and asked how long it had been sitting there because it shouldn’t have gotten that cold that quick. Guy said no problem. Let me check on that. Then another dude came out from the back and basically said it’s your fault but we’ll remake it for you. I said I appreciate it and told him to take his time, I had no problem waiting. Then he came back out five min later and handed it to me and as soon as I checked I realized the tacos were wrapped the same exact way with tomatoes sticking out of one of them. And all they did was reheat the nachos. I wasn’t trying to make a scene so I just left. Why lie? Why say you’re going to make it right if you never planned on actually doing it.
