This is a buffet. No buffet is perfect. Let's start with that...

That being said, I had hoped that this one would be at least a half star better than most, especially after waiting so long for it to open. Sadly, it's not. They have a wide selection of foods, which is good. My fiance and I arrived in the 11-o-clock hour, not long after they opened. Some of the items I tasted were bland or strange-tasting, particularly the stuffed mushrooms (how on earth does one mess that up?!). The items I did like/love were the coconut shrimp, fried banana (I know them as plaintains), and chicken and broccoli. But I also tried the stuffed mushrooms (bland), crawdads (these were fine, I just never tried them before and decided I'm not a fan), salt and pepper shrimp (strange fishy aftertaste, like they weren't made fresh), yeast buns (also fine, but the one I grabbed was just a big air bubble and was a little tough in some parts), crab rangoon (total barf, like the cream cheese had turned or something), house eggrolls (extreme barf, I can't even describe this monstrosity), and garlic shrimp (tasted fine, but was a little spicy). Even the sweet and sour sauce was a little off, like it was watered down.

My fiance tried several items I wouldn't dare ever eat at a buffet, like the mac and cheese. He took one bite and started to throw up in his mouth. But I warned him not to eat it. So, basically, eat at your own risk when coming to this buffet. It's very possible that every batch could come out...

We use to really like this place the food was good and the employees were nice. We stopped going months ago but because we were at the movie theaters we decided to get some food. Now food and service is bad. My sisters family was 3 and my family was 4 the young lady at the front was so rude and had a bad attitude. My sister wanted to pay for herself and the lady was rolling her eyes and pointing at a sign that said gratuity of 10% then the guy had to come over to help he said if you are worried about the gratuity you can pay separate but if you sit together it's going to be a 10% gratuity at this time I then realized she had an attitude because she thought we were trying to get over on the gratuity that was the last of my worries we were simply trying to pay we really did not even think about that as my husband and I work in the restaurant and we always leave a tip I did not have a problem with that and told him to please just add us all on 1 check I will get the money from my sister for her family later the attitude of these workers is so bad I really wanted to leave and did not enjoy the stares like really if I was worried about how much money I spend why would I eat out they really acted like we were trying to scam them this will be the last time we come here there are better places in taste and manners people who hate dealing with customers should really not work in the...

The food is good, there are lots of options but the service is okay. Mediocre. The servers are inconsistent, some are on top of picking up plates and refilling your cups while at times I find myself looking for them because the table is full of plates or cups are empty.

They definitely need to get that customer service in sync because it could make a great dinner/ lunch not enjoyable, even frustrating. During the lunch period, they keep everything stocked but around the last hour or two before closing, they slack off a lot. High demand buffet items like their fried crab and shrimp trays are empty. They almost appear obvious with rushing you to leave by either telling you they're closing soon or start bringing you fortune cookie trays to your table before you've even got dessert. I find that slightly rude. They never ask if you are enjoying your food or if you need anything too, just fyi. You will always get your money's worth but you'll find yourself being slightly rushed through some of their passive aggressiveness.

I would still recommend this place but you won't know if it's for you until you've been here yourself for the experience. Also, they have a hibachi grill, sushi bar, lots of fruit, dessert and ice cream cup with a few flavors to pick from, the...

Decent unless you show up and ask them to honor their posted prices they say they'll litterally time you and see if you can finish eating in two minutes. I have never been more disrespected and I used to work at the service desk at Target. On top of the mediocre food, the staff is inattentive and rude. Don't just not come here, this place should be shut down. They price gouge half their customers and the other half get sick. And I've ate here multiple times, but this is the final straw. There are 15 other Chinese buffets owned by the same subsidy in Sacramento and they're all FAR better than this trash place. Father of seven that rushed over here to beat their 330 timer, did, and was still charged dinner price, forced to pay 10% on top of it because we have a family of seven. I don't know why, your waiters and waitress do nothing. They sit at their bus table and sit on the phones. Doesn't help your cashier had 0 idea how to ring us out, and wasted 15 minutes. I asked the manager about this and she told me "can you eat in two minutes" to which I let her know exactly how I felt with their trash service and food.

This is a fantastic buffet. I'm rating it compared to other buffet style dining I've experienced, so bear that in mind. The food tastes very fresh, including the sushi. This is the best buffet sushi I've tried. In addition, there is tremendous variety in the food. My child won't eat sushi, but there were chicken nuggets and cheese pizza. The kiddo rated these as very good. They have excellent French fries, broccoli beef, broccoli chicken, coconut shrimp, General Tso's chicken, spring rolls, baked salmon and vegetable dishes. There's more, that's just what I remember. Like any buffet, selections may change from day to day. There's a hibachi grill with fresh ingredients and a chef standing by to get them prepped for you. Flavors in the the dishes were subtle, not overseasoned. They're not covering day old products with spices. There are servers that watch and ask if you'd like a drink refill any time you run empty. I had better drink refill service than I get in many traditional restaurants. The verdict is that we will be back regularly. This buffet is too notch.
