Need a new place to study, work, or just relax? Well look no further. Snowbean is a dessert café on East Colonial Drive behind Izziban Sushi & BBQ, and they offer a cozy atmosphere, pleasant music, decadent homemade desserts, superb coffee and tea drinks, and an amazing patio overlooking the lake with love locks everywhere. What more could you want? ☕🍧🍡🍰
We enjoyed everything we consumed in the 3 hours we spent there, but we had a few favorites. The Coffee Bean Snow (expresso, condensed milk, and shaved ice) is to die for. This innovative dessert drink pleasantly surprised us at every sip. The Magic Butterfly Tea Lemonade (rose syrup, butterfly tea, lemonade, and rose tea leaves) was so cute and very refreshing.
We also loved the Hotteok (sweet pancakes with vanilla ice cream, strawberries, and chocolate syrup). This Korean dessert tasted like funnel cakes, but it had a different yet extremely interesting texture. The Snowbean Shaved Ice (topped with bean powder, frosted flakes, Mochi, condensed milk, and red beans) was great. The toppings seemed a little weird, but it somehow worked. The spongy texture from the Mochi (Japanese rice cakes), the crunch from the cereal, and the silkyness from the condensed milk made thisdish a real treat and super fun to eat.
We got freshly-made Tres Leches mini cakes and macaroons to-go, and they were also delicious. We can't wait to try some more desserts from their talented pastry chef.
Try Snowbean out. Their staff is super friendly, and they'll make your experience memorable. This is not your average coffee shop. It's truly special, and we highly recommend it.
🤤 Don't just EATTHRUUS, eat and drink at Snowbean.

Read moreThis little Korean Cafe is such a delight! I went in after having my normal awesome Izziban Korean BBQ, and my friend started getting a little anxious to get out of there, because it started getting packed very quickly by 7:30pm (This is very normal for Izziban, but it was my friend's first time there). So we got our check, and man, the difference in atmosphere is so real! When we opened the doors to SnowBean, it was a quiet, and peaceful cafe with Korean Ballads playing as background music. It was a wonderful, relaxing, clean atmosphere, and Lena was such a sweet host. I spoke to her in Korean, and she even spoke to me in some Spanish, being that I told her I'm Latina. She makes the desserts herself, and you can tell she puts so much effort into what she does! The entire staff was friendly and welcoming. It was a great spot, and I plan on going there for often as long as they stay open! I hope they get good business! They provide amazing little sweets and great beverages. I've been looking for places to be in touch with more Koreans here in Orlando since I'm studying the language, and this place is a perfect spot to meet many new people. They even have pillows and blankets for us customers to feel comfortable. Food, lovely. Ambiance, lovely. People, lovely. It seriously is my new...
Read moreFirst time visited today and placed a $60 order. As part of that, I ordered a Thai tea. When I took a sip, I immediately noticed it tasted very weak. I politely asked if it could be remade, and the staff member responded that it tasted that way because I had requested light ice. I explained that the issue wasn’t the ice — the tea itself wasn’t brewed strong enough. It lacked the depth and richness of authentic Thai tea and tasted more like it had been made with regular tea bags.
I then asked if I could swap it for something else and requested a caramel macchiato instead. However, I was told I would have to pay for the new drink, and nothing could be offered in exchange, even though I had only taken a single sip. The explanation given was that “nothing is wrong with it,” so they couldn’t replace it without charging me again.
I ended up asking them to throw the drink away and left — disappointed.
Spending $60 and not being accommodated over a single, unsatisfying sip feels unfair and unwelcoming. I hope this can be taken as constructive feedback to improve future customer experiences. 7/27 11:15pm
