Service is rated low because even when I was given a free pizza deal with my next purchase as long it was buying a pizza at regular price and by mentioning the deal. Not only that didn't happen, employees had no clue what I was talking about, and they proceed to hang up the phone. I called back and asked if we got disconnected or was hang up, to this the answer was that was 3 other customers in front so it must be disconnected because they were busy. When I reask about the deal the employee proceed to explained that was not deals at night it was only for lunch and in such meals only. So if you go to the NY Giant Pizza place and it happens to receive a card and is a speech from the owner or manager of the pizza place be aware that is only a speech and the employees are not aware of any one time customer loyalty card or deals under such terms.
Update: Since this incident I had the opportunity to visit the NY Giant Pizza once more and talk to management about the incident with the staff and the order. They apologize about the whole deal and ensure me that the first information provided of the special it was correct certainly there is an offer of a free pizza each time you buy one at regular price just by telling the cashier or the person taking the order. The only thing is the deal is available only until 10pm each day, which by the way stills an awesome deal. Since then I have been able to buy food two more times from the establishment and have got the special, they also did put a giant sign at the entrance promoting this deal to everyone coming to the pizzeria or anyone driving by. Like at least 6 times... I Ordered my burger plain because of a family member who is allergic to mayonnaise, i specifically said just cheese and bacon, he repeated it like 3 times and of course the burger had mayonnaise on both buns, and tiny pieces of lettuce like they scraped it off the burger last minute, i called back telling the person on the phone about it, he said: we are very busy i can send you 2 burgers tomorrow just pay delivery fee.. are you serious?? Im not looking for anything free, i just want good food,,Also i can hear the guy in the background in spanish saying (he only said no sauce i took his ordered) but clearly mayo everywhere,,Pizza slice was good size for the price but it was like cardboard, deluxe fries were soggy and stale,, stromboli was dry and had little amounts of cheese and meats ( i ordered the meat lover 14') it was mostly bread. The only thing that was good about my $45 dollar and 1 hour wait delivery order was the hot wings. Read moreTerrible service. I placed an order at 1:30am from the grubhub website. It had a minimum of $15 not including a $10 delivery fee and tax. The delivery fee seemed excessive but since they were 20 minutes away I figured it was necessary. It was supposed to be an hr wait time. Anyway, the delivery driver called me 30 minutes later to confirm my address and area. He was actual kind of rude and was asking me questions about my address that you can clearly see on a gps. After 1 hr and 30 min from the time I ordered I called the store to check on my order and the guy who answered was talking to someone else for a while before acknowledging me. Very unprofessional. He told me my order was almost there. 5 mins later I get a call from the driver saying that because of how far from the restaurant my house was (20 mins away) that they would have to change my delivery from $10 to $40. They said the driver had not left yet. I was immediately upset because they waited so long to tell me that even though they knew exactly where I was when they confirmed my address.
