This place is flaky! Don't buy or eat here.. I saw the place on Groupon and thought I'd try it but didn't get the Groupon because the stipulations for it wasn't fair enough. I thought maybe I would have a better experience without it.. I ordered the grill chicken breast with rice, salad, beans and asked if the have plantains, I also added 2 beef empanadas, now I kept asking the woman about the rice, if it comes with the beans as 1 side or not, she just kept saying yes so I thought okay well if it's rice and beans then it's probably congri version which I ask her to confirm, she said yes. Okay I thought I got 3 sides(rice N beans, plantains and a salad), I waited almost 30 minutes and I was the only customer in there at noon time on a Friday. I paid around $16.00 for this meal! I get in my car, drove home 45 minutes from the restaurant and guess what!!! I have 2 chicken empanadas in the box(the receipt says 1 chicken and 1 beef when I ordered 2 beef) and there is no rice in the pan- so I ate a small side salad, chicken breast which was aweful and dried with no seasoning, beans n plantains, I didn't eat the empanadas since I don't like the taste of it. I was so upset because I was soooo hungry!! I called the store to talk to the girl that took my order and she pretends she doesn't speak English now which is so upsetting, so I kept on talking ask by for her manager, she said they're not there, that I can come back 45 minutes to get the rice which was indeed white rice lol... this whole experience was just horrible! And guess what?? She didn't give me back my discover card I paid with!! I literally had to make my husband drive back to John Young that night to pick it up when I realize it wasn't in my purse, which she could have mentioned the 2 times I spoke to her before that day about my order being messed up! Never again! This place sucks and should not exist. There are plenty other awesome Columbian...

My experience at Sonero’s was a disaster. I have driven by the place many times and never really had an interest in dining there, however I did find a groupon for the restaurant and thought “hey, why not!” When we are greeted I immediately let the hostess know that I am using a groupon , we sit down order our drinks and we are ordering I let the server know that we are using a coupon and ask how it is used. The server just says “get whatever you want from the menu and the amount of your groupon will deducted from the total prices”. We order up to the value of the groupon and everything is fine. It was a Sunday night about 7pm the restaurant was completely empty and it took about 1 hr to get our food, we ordered appetizers which came out at the same time as the dinner did. The food was not bad, but the service was horrible! The server did not want bring us refills it seemed as if we bothered him though there was no one else at the restaurant to serve. They asked if we wanted the check and they brought it over , I gave them the groupon and it took 40 minutes for them to call back and say that they could not honor the groupon that the server was new and didn’t know that we had to order 4 separate plates. We asked to speak with the manager and there was no manager on duty however they sent a different server over who claimed to be the manager, which we later found out was just another server. They told us we would have to pay the cost of the bill , which was very upsetting and they said they couldn’t do anything about it, the second server said she would call the boss and never came back to the table, she just had our server collect the money from us. Very frustrating experience, no costumer service skill whatsoever, the employees had no interest in helping us at all or could care less if we went back to the restaurant. We paid and left very...

This was my first visit to this restaurant and my last. We were a bit skeptic at first because some Latino restaurants are well known on how they treat African American when they dine at there restaurants, I went in with and open mindset. The greeters were welcoming sat us down and provided the menu's to us. Unfortunately everything the thereafter went west. I sat there for 20 minutes without anyone acknowledging me just sitting there with a menu no beverage was offered. I was about to just walk out then finally this so call waitress came to me with a fake smile asking me what I wanted I placed my order keep in my the restaurants barely had 20 guests at the time. My food took 35 minutes and was served lukewarm the woman had the nerves to say ohhh be careful the plate is hot.....hot? Really from sitting there in the kitchen for 35 minutes under probably red hot light who knows it certainly wasn't hot fresh from the grill. Now mind I had to ask her what's taking so long with my food she motioned to me oh it's almost ready. I walked in three other guests that were Latino they got there drinks and food served before me and my guest. Once she delivered our food she never came to ask us how's the food or if we needed anything else. I even had to motioned to her for my bill. Then she was trying to overcharge me for an item on the bill which I'm sure she thought would go unnoticed. I spotted just like her bad service. She also tagged a 11% surcharge on our bill which was her tip. The woman clearly didn't deserve jack! This was Unfortunate although, I went in with an open mindset to overcome narrative that is bestowed on some Latino restaurants experiences. Well it's sad to report this experience. I should have waited 30 minutes long at the...

What an incredible find! Soneros in Hunters Creek is an absolute hidden gem that deserves way more than the 4.1 stars it’s currently sitting at. From start to finish, our experience was top-notch, and we’re already planning our next visit. We started with cocktails, and let me tell you—the Long Island Iced Tea was superb. Perfectly balanced, strong but smooth, and clearly made with quality ingredients. It’s rare to find a spot that nails classic cocktails like this. The food? Outstanding. We began with the ceviche mixto served with tostones—fresh, zesty, and beautifully presented. Every bite was full of flavor, and the tostones added the perfect crunch. For our main course, we shared the parrilla for two, which was absolutely packed with perfectly cooked meats, delicious sides, and generous portions. It’s clear the kitchen takes pride in their craft. Despite the restaurant being packed—especially with two soccer matches on and a lively crowd of fans—the service was impressively prompt and attentive. The energy in the place was vibrant and fun, but we still felt well taken care of. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better night out. If you’re in the area or just love discovering great local spots, Soneros is a must-visit. Great food, amazing cocktails, and a welcoming atmosphere—what more could you ask for? We’ll definitely be back!

Good food, but becarful with the bill, they charged a service of 18% when we are 3 people only, I asked to the server Abril, why are charging 18% if we are 3, she said with actitud "in this restaurant we charged the service on weekends starting on Thursday and is in the menu". Ok, I went to check the Manu and said " WEEKEND (SATURDAY AND SUNDAY) and tables of 5 or more people the service will be included of 18%". Today is Friday, and I asked why the charged it, and said they do like this, I requested for a manager, and no manager tonight. I asked to the Police officer that was in place, and he was agree with me. I went to the bar, and asked why if the menu said WEEKEND (SATURDAY AND SUNDAY) they charged the services of 18%, the guy was inside and look for another server, and when I asked the same, he replied the same like Abril the other server, but I said to him, I'm so sorry, but your Manu specify that the WEEKEND is (SATURDAY AND SUNDAY). I requested give me back it. And he said, OK I will give it (with actitud), and is the last time, I said don't worry, this is my last time too in this restaurant. Pls see the photos attached.

This place is Colombian and Venezuelan, when I first arrived, I thought it was a Mexican restaurant. The menu is great and has many items. They have a full bar. The food was just ok though, I wasnt impressed. I love Colombian food, but this was just ok. The empanadas are very small with a spoonful of meat. The aji is really good and spicy, that was what I liked most here. I asked for my entrana to be well done and it came medium rare, my plate had blood all over it. I will try it again and see if it was just a bad day.
