Premature Closing Time Tarnished Our Experience at Fruta Bowls
Review:
I recently had the opportunity to visit Fruta Bowls, a place that I had heard so much about from friends and colleagues. They praised the place for its unique atmosphere, and, naturally, for the amazing bowls it serves.
Upon entering, the warm and lively ambiance embraced us. We were immediately drawn to the interior design that exudes a balanced fusion of modern and traditional aesthetics. The staff greeted us with friendly smiles, and we were swiftly guided to our seats.
One of the main attractions of Fruta Bowls is, of course, the food. Their bowls are a cornucopia of flavors and textures, crafted with great detail and attention. Every bite was a culinary journey, with fresh, high-quality ingredients coming together to create a symphony of flavors.
However, there was one significant issue that marred our otherwise delightful visit. Fruta Bowls' operational hours listed on their website, and even on their front door, clearly state a closing time of 9 pm. Despite this, to our surprise and disappointment, we were politely but firmly asked to wrap up and leave by 8:30 pm.
Such an early closure certainly disrupted the flow of our evening. The rush to finish our meal undermined the relaxed, enjoyable dining experience we had initially immersed ourselves in. We were left feeling unvalued and frustrated by the premature end to our visit.
This incident suggests a lack of synchronization between the advertised operational hours and the actual on-ground practices, which I believe needs immediate attention. A restaurant's operational hours hold significance to customers planning their outings, and deviations like this can lead to customer dissatisfaction, as was the case with us.
Despite the fantastic food and ambiance, the early closure left a bitter taste in our mouths, overshadowing the positive aspects of our visit. I hope Fruta Bowls will rectify this inconsistency and take customer feedback seriously to improve their overall dining experience.
In conclusion, while I would recommend Fruta Bowls for its delightful food and welcoming atmosphere, potential diners should be aware that they might be ushered out earlier than the stated...
Read moreWow, I honestly wasn't expecting the quick service and how nice it is inside. From the outside, I always questioned the location because inside always looks dark and not like a spot you'd want to enter. That isn't as until you walk in and finally realize that it's the dark tinted windows in the front that make it look like this.
The inside is different and is very welcoming. I went in at around 9am on a weekday and ordered a classic bowl with an acai base. It was delicious! The service was quick! The inside is fairly small I will say and if there is a heavy line one day, you might be waiting some time as it seems they only have 2 employees working at the same time. I don't know if this count is different on the weekdays, but just take it as a heads up.
They do have shakes and bowls that have whey protein in them, but I really wish they would list what kind of whey protein they use. Especially for folks who have specific allergies to specific food items. If I had known that the whey powder didn't have any soy in it, I would've paid the extra $$ to get different bowl. Still good fruit bowls, worth coming back here again or ordering take out from...
Read moreSmoothie was just ok but I understand fruit may not be in season, too much ice though, took away from the taste. Not impressed for an $8.00 smoothie, and after I had a stomach ache.
The issue though.. which they should know, is the customer service part. No one in the order line and only 2 people waiting on their completed order. Mind you there were 4 girls working the line, but took almost 2 minutes for them to acknowledge me at the order line. The girl who took my order attended to the next customer behind me and proceeded to chitchat for a few minutes with them. The 3 other girls working, one with her mask below her nose breathing on the bowls she was making, were chat-chatting and working way too slow. The girl who took my order, and only after she took the customers order behind me, and only after she finished her few minutes of chitchat, turned around to make my smoothie. The customer behind me had already gotten their fruity bowl and had sat down to eat it, and I, still waiting for my order. They need to improve their service and appoint certain responsibilities accordingly. Most likely I will...
