Apparently it's who you know not first come first serve. As I stood in a long line waiting 2 gentleman after me in line had their orders taken and made before I was able to place an order. The woman running the show explained its because they had to go to work. She assuned none of the other customers like myself had nothing to do so we deserved to stand in line and wait. I'm a regular customer here that always tips but I won't ever come here again. When I see a sign that says first come first serve and they actually do it I may consider spending my money here again!
To your response! Not ture! One of the 2 gentlemen headed straight for the register to pay and said out load... "I don't come here that often". She was not only letting go ahead of people, she was allowing them to pay when they had time! This is what "others" mean when we call out "privilege". There was a diverse line of people but she helped to white males at the end of the line skip everyone and pay later. This is not first come first serve, this is give favor to whom we know will be back to spend money. We don't care about the visitors. I am a regular, and I hated being treated that way and I hated seeing everyone else look at each other...
Read moreNever had a chance to eat at this establishment because the ordering process is terrible. I understand everything is difficult right now but it is as if the owner doesn't understand logistics.
So you pull into a drive thru where a sign says orders can be called in or placed using the website. My cell has zero reception until I get around the building where I'm 3 cars from the window. This took me a half hour to get their.
I finally get a call in after being out on hold 3 times. Was told my order is taking 30 minutes. After I exained I already waited a half hour the owner said that putting my order ahead of others that I'm physically ahead of in line who could have called in before me makes no sense.
So maybe the owner may be good at making bagels but hasn't ever used a drive thu in their life. You can't have a drive thru if you aren't taking orders from people in cars unless they call in. How many times have you sat in a drive thru on the phone to order?
Don't waste your time going here since they can't figure out how to run a business. Unless of course you call a half hour ahead of your arrival then plan on sitting in your car another half hour to get to the window to pick up. That...
Read moreThe bagels I was allowed to buy were good, and so were the sandwiches. We went at 1pm on a Tuesday, an hour before closing. I wanted one sandwich and 6 bagels and was informed that they don’t sell half dozens that late in the day. The cashier was extremely apologetic and acknowledged that it probably doesn’t make sense to me as a customer, but they need to reserve some bagels for sandwiches. The woman behind the counter acted like having the audacity to order six bagels at a bagel shop was extremely rude. I asked if I could get 4? Nope. Ending up getting 2 sandwiches and 2 bagels. I don’t know if this is just some shady practice to get people to spend $5-$10 a person instead of $2, but I wouldn’t recommend ordering more than two sandwiches anyway because they were very slow coming out even though the place was nearly empty.
In response to the owner, you wouldn’t sell me 4 bagels either. We stopped on a whim because I thought bagels would be quick and easy, it didn’t occur to me that a bagel shop would be unwilling to sell me bagels unless I ordered them hours ahead via...
