As a party of 5 the table was very large and comfortable. The atmosphere was alright. It's an interesting building. The roof looks like it has a bad leak. They have water stains on the ceiling and curtains. The waitress came over and took the drink order. Dropped off drinks and one of the people in the party was not sure exactly what they had gotten. So they asked for confirmation that it was not an adult beverage. The waitress said NO! It's made in house! As if the question was offensive. It was not what they had expected and was looking for clarification. Then the waitress offered a different drink (a nice gesture) the person said that the lemonade was fine and they would stay with it. The waitress stood at the table staring at us. It was very uncomfortable. When I ordered food I asked specifically for 1/2 the pizza be pepperoni and 1/2 caramelized onion. I asked to keep them separate. I don't eat meat the person I was sharing the pizza with does. If made correctly the pepperoni should be able to stay on one side. If I can manage to make that happen at home a restaurant should be able to succeed at that task. When it arrived 3/4 of the pizza was pepperoni. It hardly had any caramelized onion on it. It had been cut so the pepperoni was on the slices of the caramelized onion. I asked the person who brought it to the table for a sharp knife. The person who brought it to the table was different from the waitress. We didn't see the waitress much after they took the food order. If we had we would have asked for clean cups and silverware. Something was stuck on two of the cups and one set of silverware. Along with straws for the members of the table who did not get one. When I asked for a knife they said you have one. I said that's a butter knife. They looked at me like I was crazy. I said I would like to cut the meat off the slices. They said we only have sharp knives in the kitchen. At this point I was frustrated. Obviously they cut the pizza with something. I didn't care if it was a sharp knife or a pizza cutter. But no solution was offered. Not to re cut it, not find a sharp knife, not too remake it so it was 1/2 & 1/2 or any other suggestions. I said NVM I'll just cut it with a butter knife. They walked off. The small part of the pizza that was left was good. But I wish I got to enjoy the full 1/2. We didn't get the bill until everyone was done eating. I guess this is a lesson to not order 1/2 & 1/2 pizzas from new to me restaurants. But people who are vegetarian be aware if this is something you care about. We went because of a birthday. We would have probably gotten dessert. It was not offered and the experience was...
Read moreI can’t recommend Flatbread Company enough! The pizza here is absolutely out of this world. If you’re a pizza lover, this place is a must-try.
Vegetarian Pizza: The potato on the pizza was a game-changer—such a unique and unforgettable taste that I can’t stop thinking about it. The crust was perfectly crisp and had just the right amount of chewiness, while the toppings balanced each other wonderfully. The portion size is generous too, and while it’s slightly overpriced, it’s definitely worth it for the incredible flavor that you won’t find anywhere else.
Service: The service was fantastic. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. They were attentive without being intrusive, ensuring we had everything we needed. Their warm hospitality truly enhanced the overall dining experience.
Ambience: The ambience is really unique. You get to watch the pizza being cooked in a wood-fired oven, which adds a rustic, cozy feel to the place. It’s not just about the food, but the experience of being there. The vibe is casual yet welcoming, and the open kitchen setup gives the space an inviting, interactive energy.
Ranch: The ranch that comes with the pizza is ridiculously tasty—rich and creamy with a hint of tanginess that complements the pizza perfectly. I could probably dip everything in it. It’s that good! The pairing really elevates the flavors of the pizza and makes each bite even more satisfying.
Wait: We had to wait about an hour for a table, which I was a bit doubtful about at first. However, once I tasted the pizza, I completely understood the hype and realized it was worth every minute. The long wait speaks to how popular and loved this place is, and it didn’t disappoint once we got seated.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I’m already planning my next visit. If you love good food and a fun dining atmosphere, this place is...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Flatbread in North Conway, NH, and I can confidently say it was an exceptional experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The rustic decor, with its charming wood-fired oven, sets the perfect tone for a cozy meal.
The highlight of our visit was, without a doubt, the pizza. Flatbread serves some of the best pizza I've ever tasted. The crust was perfectly thin and crispy, with a delightful chew that only a wood-fired oven can achieve. The toppings were fresh, flavorful, and generously applied, creating a harmonious blend of tastes and textures in every bite.
We tried the classic Pepperoni & Mushroom and the unique Mopsy's Kalua Pork Pie. Both were outstanding in their own right. The pepperoni had just the right amount of spice, and the mushrooms were cooked to perfection. The Kalua Pork Pie, with its combination of pork, pineapple, and cheese, was a delightful twist that left us craving more.
The staff at Flatbread were friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about their food. They made us feel right at home and were more than happy to accommodate our requests.
