Never Again. I have lived in this neighborhood for over 15 years and have ordered from this place several times but honestly prefer it's competitor up the block by Publix. Unfortunately, the taste of both places have changed over the years leaving me to go back and forth between the two. I don't know if this place has changed owners or they hired a different cook or what. I favor the General TSO Chicken with fried rice. Their fried rice is yellow with no flavor. The chicken's sauce is correct but the chicken itself taste old. I order it again on another date and the results are the same. The next time I order I decide not to get my usual and instead order the pepper steak with white rice. What I receive is bland white rice along with bland pepper, onions and steak. The steak was so chewy and gross. The sauce on the pepper steak was OK but the meat and veggies have no flavor from it. It seems like they they cook the meat separately days before and then throw it together with the sauce once it's ordered. I could be wrong but nonetheless this food just sucks bad. Well I got food poisoning last night because of this place I don't even want to leave a star but I have to the only thing that I would say that is safe to eat there is the so called fried noodles and that's only because they are store brought and they are baked. They gave us everything right on our order but then they gave us food that we didn't even order the broccoli was rotten and so was the shrimp you could smell the fish through the whole house which is not normal and I didn't even try the fish, everything is clearly dyed not mixed with red sauce and the meat is reheated to your order and is delivered to you rubbery and floppy gross! I tried one bite of the ribs a few bites over the pork fried rice because I thought that would be safe and one fried crab wonton that tasted like the sour cream had tured that did me in by the end of the night I couldn't even make it to bed I was so sick I won't give you the gory details of bodily function's that happened. Im not one to do reviews , but I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE ! ive been going here many years ... The lady on the phone is RUDE everytime you call . my parents wanted to eat from here so i Just finished getting their food. TERRIBLE SERVICE . there was a language barrier between the man and myself and the lady comes and starts rolling her eyes , yelling because no one (INCLUDING HER) clearly couldnt get my order correct , & then went to the back and shes yelling while the guys are laughing . she slammed my receipt with an attitude.. When she finished my order i then asked for receipt to make sure it all was correct since none of us could understand the other she then again smacked my receipt with a huff and puff & eye rolling again . they also say after 20 30 40 bucks you get something rice a drink SOMETHING & after my father kindly asked she said you spent 50 you dont get nothing actually $67 to be treated and spoken to so disrespectful . i will NEVER go back here...
