My two first orders from here were absolutely less than stellar. On my first visit, two employees were obviously training, which was perfectly fine as their manager was assisting them behind them. However, when I walked in to place my order, the girl behind the register, who was wearing a political shirt to work for some reason, glared at me for a solid ten seconds without moving before finally starting to input my order. She continued to glare at me throughout my entire order and while calling my name to retrieve it several minutes later. I then watched her interact perfectly fine with every other customer after me--at the very least, the sandwich was fine. The next time I went to this location, I placed an extremely simple order of a cheese and mayonnaise sandwich. By some miracle, the two other employees who were also very obviously training managed to forget one of those two ingredients. I could then hear them whispering about how they forgot one, as well. The entire time my order was placed that second time, the employees more or less refused to make eye contact with me and went out of their way to do so. I'm not sure why every time I walk into this Firehouse the employees won't so much as look at me, and as a retail worker myself I can understand trying to get through your shift or having a bad day, but this is a consistent issue. Not sure where the managers are getting their new hires from but I'm done with this location. I'll be going next door for Publix subs instead...
Read moreDO NOT use their App! I ordered takeout through the mobile Firehouse Subs app. Spent over $17.00 on one sandwich. When I arrived they said they didn't have the ingredients to complete my order. Okay, probably shouldn't have accepted and processed my order, but things happen. I asked them to cancel my order and the associate said she couldn't and that I had to do so via the app. Okay again, it was the day before Thanksgiving, no need to make a scene. I go to the app and try to cancel my order. They create a ticket and say a representative will be in contact. Well, it's over a month later and there have been several emails exchanged. Each time they say they understand but can't refund my money until the local franchise contacts me via phone. Of course the franchise hasn't reached out and I've been answering all my annoying "Unknown" numbers for a month. Good times. The last email said I'd be better off going to the franchise directly. Again, I was there, they said to go through the app. How much work do I need to put in to get a refund for a sandwich that was never even...
Read moreI went to this location this morning, I thought they were open but I was early, okay, I waited the 6 mins for them to open. But before that I went to grab on the door and they were locked, so I saw two people sitting at the table and one turned around and looked at me and turned back around talking to the other employee and so as I stated I thought they were open so I went to open the other door and that same person looked at me and turned back around when I had pointed to my wrist asking what time they open and the other employee gave me finger time 1030. So when I came in and placed my order with the young that gave me the time, but the person (who I believe is a manager) didn’t even speak just gave me this snotty look. If this is the kind of people or managers that Firehouse have working for them, I will never come back.
