Mystic Sugar Bakery — Restaurant in Conway

First and foremost, if you’re hesitating, go for it!

I just hired Mystic Sugar Bakery for my wedding, and I could not be happier. We ordered our wedding cake as well as many small pastries for the event (brownies, cookies, and cupcakes). We had over a hundred guests and many of them with allergies or dietary restrictions, but Christy worked tirelessly and closely with me to make sure everything that was served at our wedding was safe for everyone. She was extremely accommodating and together, we were able to make sure every single guest got dessert, she even went as far as making some extra pastries for those guests who just had too many allergies to eat the regular desserts we had ordered. The cake looked beautiful and was delicious, and many of my guests came to us to tell us they loved their desserts and were really touched that we thought about them and their allergies.

Despite running a busy business, Christy was always very patient and available. I was able to reach her when needed and despite all the crazy requests we made, I never felt like I was burdening her, she was always nice and happy to assist, and even went out of her way to buy a specific brand of chocolate chips (the only brand one of our guests could have). It really made the wedding planning that much easier for us.

The desserts were delivered on time and set up very quickly! Christy worked with our coordinator to make sure everything was where and as it should be, I didn’t even need to be around for that part, but the final result was great! The table looked beautiful!

I would absolutely hire them again if I had the chance, and I would recommend them to anyone asking! Thank you Mystic Sugar Bakery, and thank you Christy!

We stumbled across this bakery in the North Conway stretch of shops and within walking distance of the Eastern Slope Inn Resort and Met Cafe.

We were spending the day with my in-laws and it happened to be my mother in laws birthday. She has several food allergies and sensitivities which make finding anything gluten free and able to meet her needs difficult, especially for an impromptu purchase. While she was in another shop my husband and I took a chance and popped into this magical cozy space and were more than pleasantly surprised.

Not only did they have gluten free cupcakes, they had muffins and other items too! We proceeded to get an assortment of both gluten and non gluten-free items for our unplanned surprise. You see, we had just passed up dessert at the restaurant nearby as they had recently changed their dessert menu and no longer had options to meet her allergen needs. We met up with my in-laws at a table down the street, bought beverages and had a family cupcake party outside with the mountain views! What a way to unexpextedly celebrate a very special person to us.

The cupcakes were larger than what we find normally. The buttercream was smooth and not to sweet so it made a great compliment to the cake. Several of the cupcakes had filling which was another pleasant surprise. The gluten free option that day was almost like a rolo, chocolate cake with a caramel type filling inside. Not only will we be back but we finamly have a place we know can accommodate family allergen needs when we are in the area. Right down to separate packaging for the gluten-free items without having to ask. Its the little things that make all the difference. We...

You did it again! I was blown away by your brownies when I found you last year and this trip was even better! I got more brownies (of course), but I had to try a few more things. The blueberry scones were just the right amount of crispy outside while being light and tender inside! The blueberry muffins are huge and out of this world! The crunchy streusel topping completely covers the moist, blueberry filled muffin. They’re a meal in themselves. We also got the chocolate cannoli cream filled and the lemon drop (?) cupcakes which were amazing. Even hubby, who rarely says more than something is good stated about the lemon, “that’s the best cupcake I’ve ever had, I’ll bet she makes amazing birthday cakes”. High praise indeed! The shop itself is absolutely charming, so comfy and inviting. So now that I’ve found you (again), I’ll definitely see you during my next trip...
