I bought an inferior OTF switch blade from a local merchant and I realized at the time that it was a made in China product. Of course it lasted only a few months. The merchant sold me another for half price but it too only lasted a few months.

I Googled “knife repair near me” and found this great company! I spoke with Trey on the phone and Sandy in person and both were knowledgeable and very helpful! There’s no guarantee that the knives can be repaired but I have their assurance they will do their best!

What I really liked was that they showed me an American OTF knife that is both well made, rugged with a good feel but reasonably priced. I purchased a Cobratec knife and I plan on telling as many people as possible about this great company!

Just had the most wonderful experience at Sawyer River Knife. Vibes are relaxed and professional. Sandy helped me for about an hour in holding chef knives until I found the perfect ergonomic one. She started with my budget and goals in using the knife. She answered the thousands of questions I had and educated me on how to care for and maintain my new knife and the cutting board that I also purchased. Very high quality items throughout the store and Sandy was so knowledgeable about all of them. What a gift to our town to have this store and the family who runs it! Highly recommend!...

Just found this place when we moved up to the area. They have a great selection of high end pocketknives. Owner and his son are very knowledgeable about the knives they sell. Every time I go in I have a great time talking to them about the knives. They seem to treat you the same if you buy a five dollar knife or a five hundred dollar knife… which is the way customer service should be. We went there just to get a vegetable peeler, instead of the big box stores, just because of how well they treat...
