We arrived as part of a larger group and were sat separately, which isn't an issue. What was an issue is that our simple drinks arrived about 10 minutes after the other tables, then the food arrived a full 25 minutes after the other tables in our party after we ordered within about 3 minutes of the others.

When the food arrived, the kids quesadilla from the verbally delivered kids menu was made with pepper jack and was inedible for both my 3 year old and 6 year old. It was, in fact, pretty spicy. We let them know that the quesadilla was not appropriate for children and they offered to make a second one with cheddar. We waited for another quesadilla to be made while our kids ate the duck sandwich and fries and sausage plate that we had ordered for ourselves.

The bill came and I let them know that I thought it was appropriate that we should not be charged $8 for a quesadilla that showed up 35 minutes late. The waitress responded that "we had received a replacement". I let her know that our kids had ended up eating our food since the offering from the kids menu was not appropriate for children and she said she would see what she could do. Ultimately it was removed from the bill.

I should not have had to ask for the quesadilla to be removed, much less have received attitude for asking, and the food should have arrived in a timely manner in the first place.

Food and mead were absolutely fantastic! Cannot say enough good things about the herbed chicken, tostadas , duck burger and the smoked rhubarb and pine mead! Very different and delicious! We even brought a bottle. But talking about the service, it was very mediocre. Gabriel was our server (if I remember his name correctly, he’s the tall, lean gentleman). He never filled our water again, we had to ask repeatedly. The comedic part was the young blonde hostess! She was so deep in her phone that she didn’t even notice me until I said hi twice! And then, while dining we needed our server so I turned back and she made eye contact with me so I waved at her with a smile. She waved back at me and went back on her phone again, lol! I’ve never encountered such inattentiveness and total lack of awareness before in a restaurant. All in all, we will go back again for...

What a gem! My husband and I stopped in here for a sample and a few drinks on a Saturday. We had been to the Ossipee location many years ago, and have been dying to come back to try more mead. This location is much easier for us to get to, so we were excited to see they opened this year.

We did their free sampler, which was a line up of delicious offerings. We moved over to the bar, where the bartender (who was very pleasant!) poured us a flight, and my husband's mixed drink. The mead is so phenomenal. I can't tell you how happy I was with evereything I tried. I went home with a bottle, of course.

Next time, we'd like to try the food, as we understand it's all made fresh in house.
