The tree of us went here after dropping our daughter off at the airport. We wanted a quick but delicious lunch and didn’t want to spend big bucks. After reading other reviews we were excited to try it, especially my daughter that lived in Japan for 6 months. We entered the restaurant and were immediately welcomed from behind the counter. I have heard many times that you can tell the cleanliness of a restaurant by how much attention is paid to cleaning the barrooms, and coincidentally I had to use the bathroom right away. Wow! Sparkling clean! Like Mama clean! Good sign! My daughter sort of picked out our food , I had chicken ramen- with added spice, my daughter and husband had the chicken bento boxes and an order of gyoza. We sat down at a booth and the soup and salads that came with the bento boxes came out quickly. Salads were fresh and crisp with a good amount of ginger dressing. The miso soup was flavorful with mushroom slices and green onions and bits of something that looked like puffed rice floating on top. I got to sample both and both were delicious. The gyoza arrived and was hot and crispy- and my daughter said it was “close” to what she got in Japan. My ramen arrived and it was hot, with lots of sliced chicken, noodles, and a smattering of veggies. The broth was heavenly with small globules of liquified fat which gave the broth depth and silkiness. The bento boxes arrived and I immediately sampled the broccoli (which typically I hate!) and it was perfectly cooked al dente, with a flavorful sauce with just a touch of spice. I didn’t sample anything else by my daughter and husband not said it was very good. Our entire meal was delicious and very reasonably priced for the amount and quality of food we received. We will...

So, a few things, first the site that comes up as the first result is apparently not the site you use to order. Additionally, the prices are all wrong, as well.

Not only have they raised their prices, they have also decreased the amount of food. We don't go too regularly, because ever since they switched owners, it's been one thing after another, but today was the last straw. you raised your prices AND you decrease the food.

We've ordered and a lot of the meals come with white sauce, and one time we tried to swap it out with teriyaki but they tried to charge us. We wanted to swap it, not add on. They kept telling us we had to pay but (at least on their apparently no longer functioning website) it's listed as being the same price.

Anyway, please do NOT call me about this review. Absolutely shameful. Ever since the owners switched, it's been awful...

Always a great choice for Japanese food that is close by. They can be VERY busy at times (more so due to few staff rather than large crowds) but it is always worth the wait. I didn’t get the girl’s name, but the curly-haired (I think) employee who works on the front end is an absolute boss (Gen Z slang — basically, she’s awesome). She was juggling multiple phone calls, online orders, drinks, dine-in orders…and every time she interacted with someone, she had a positive tone and was very polite. Honestly, that takes a lot to not show that you are stressed/busy and still talk to customers as if they are the only one there. I don’t know…just had to come here to say that! Food is always hot as I usually end up waiting a few extra mins past my pickup time, but I don’t care. Definitely recommend as long as you’re not super...

I have been going to this restaurant for a while now and I am never disappointed. The food always taste amazing and the staff here are total sweethearts. After the hurricane had hit, I found out they were doing a hurricane relief where they were giving out free bowls for the people to give back to the community. They wanted to show everyone that they understand how challenging it can be, and wanted to help by providing a warm, comforting meal. I have never seen a restaurant do this before and I just had to post about it today!! This place is amazing and the owners/staff really do care. More people really should know about this place.

My friends introduced this café to me for dinner one day and I loved it. The staff were super friendly and patient when I was trying to figure out what to order. The prices on the menu were fair for what we got. I got a chicken hibachi bowl. They also provided a bottle of shrimp sauce since we ate in. The Boba and tea was decent. I would not recommend the Boba tea but I will definitely come back to order another bowl. The portion was great and flavorful.
