My husband and I stopped in there quite frequently lately on my way back from UAMS in Little Rock! By the time we get back to Conway I'm usually starving and that's my go-to comfort comfort food! We stopped in there this morning and bought our usual breakfast and waitress we had was so very kind and very attentive and make sure our orders were perfect! she noticed that I didn't look like I felt very well and I explained that I've been battling cancer! I appreciated her concern and she wasn't afraid to ask questions and treated me like a human being and not and strange anomaly! You see I've lost my hair and I get treated in public like a freak sometimes this young lady did not do that and was very very kind! We chatted about what I've been through and she was very encouraging and very open and caring unlike the General Public. I'm ashamed to say that I don't have her name but she would be working wait staff at around 11 a.m. on 9/11 2018. I get cold easy so after I ate I took the keys and got in the car while my husband paid our bill. When my husband came out to the car he informed me that she paid our breakfast tab from her own pocket! That has never happened to me in my life and I can't thank her enough! I will be going back there to personally say thank you !Waffle House has a great caring employee! When I go back in to find out who she is I will update this and tell you who she is in the meantime I just wanted to share this because it was so very touching and caring of her to not only ask about my condition, she picked up our breakfast tab to boot. I know that she probably doesn't make a whole lot of money so the gesture was absolutely from the bottom of her heart and I have to thank her from the...
Read moreI called the Waffle House 5 times to see if they were busy and got hung up on 4 times, except the 4th time they didn't hang the phone up and I heard everything. The lady named Tracey was telling the manager Rachael to talk to me and tell me they wasn't taking To Go orders. Rachael told her no just hang up the phone because she wasnt talking to anybody and to just hang up the f××king phone. Of course she hung up and i called back 2 more times. Finally, Tracey answered with a horrible attitude. She said they weren't busy so we went to the restaurant. We got there and guess who was waiting on us? Tracey....her attitude didn't change at all. She was rude the entire time. Rachael of course was in the back and never showed her face. We ordered our food and as Tracey was calling it out the cook (didnt get his name) started cussing Tracey out because she was calling it out to fast. He then turns around and throws 3 servings of hashbrowns in the trash (while cussing). This was probably the worst Waffle House I've ever been to. I had to check all the food before we left and of course they left the waffle out. We will never go back again. The food was edible but I have defintely had better. Too bad more restaurants aren't open late because we would have went somewhere else. Do better Waffle House. If u dont want to do the work then find...
Read moreHeaded home after work and decided to stop and get a biscuit and gravy. You can no longer dine in at Waffle House at night they do to go orders only through the window. There's not a place to wait for your order unless you go back to your vehicle and tonight it was raining. The lady at the window was friendly but surrounded by about 5 other employees that looked like they were hating life. I know they can't be making good tips if they're to go only so I handed the lady a tip as she handed me my bag. But then I get home and the first bite I took was just like a biscuit someone poured water on. The second attempt gave my fork a soured string of dry conjelled old gravy that someone had added water to and not even stirred it. After my fifth rancid gravy glob I decided I had better say something in hopes of preventing the same to others. I am sadly disappointed that the establishment myself and many others used to frequent after a night out on the town has been...
