Let me start by saying I've always liked the food here; I've always ordered out. Saturday my co-worker and I decided to come in and sit down. We were greeted by a waitress that was struggling to speak English; So i proceeded to reply to her in Spanish since i'm Hispanic. She said sit where you want in English but with attitude. I kinda brushed it off and we proceeded to seat ourselves, she asked if we wanted drinks and if we knew what we wanted to eat, again I responded in Spanish and gave her our order. I asked my co-worker "is it me or she is giving us attitude?" Coworker replied "Yes, she is giving you attitude." We received our food within five to seven minutes we were there ,which i liked. However, one taco in, the Male cashier walks up and gives me the receipt ,I quickly looked over to the table near us they were already there when we arrived, I didn't see a receipt on their table. I was shocked because we hadn't even been there more than 10 min. I felt rushed at this point my hunger went away and i wanted out; So i asked the cashier to give me two to go boxes and two Pineapple waters to go (he literally rolled his eyes at me, nodded yes and walked away) Now i'm upset, because i loved ordering their food when they had the food truck or delivery to my work place. I had no idea they were rude to Hispanic customers and to insult me even more the male cashier came up to me to let me know the to go Pineapple waters were $3.00 more each ( he seemed upset because he will have to ring me up again, after already giving me the receipt.) I said "OK, and i want those large, No one asked you to provide me with the receipt before i asked for it!' It made me feel like i couldn't afford what i was asking for. NEVER HAVE I EVER FELT SO DISCRIMINATED AGAINST. NEEDLESS TO SAY I WILL NEVER COME BACK! Therefore, my suggestion to the restaurant provider is this. Simply teach and provide common courtesy, good customer service, and NEVER ROLL THE EYES AT THE PAYING CUSTOMER, for this is very very RUDE and it will cause a...
Read moreFood: The quality of the food is great. It does seem very fresh. It also tastes pretty great as well. The chips seem very homemade which is always a plus. I ordered enchiladas and they did not skimp out on the fillings like most restaurants do. The rice had excellent flavor. There is nothing I can complain about when it comes to the food.
Value: I believe the things here are priced pretty similar here as to anywhere else you would go but maybe just a tad more expensive, but with the quality of ingredients, I think it evens out.
Service: The food came out very quickly. Quickly enough to where I was impressed. This is where it goes a little downhill. Not once did I see a smile on the servers (or any workers) face. We were never asked if we needed a refill on our drinks. We were never stopped in the middle of our meal to ask if everything was tasting good or if we needed anything else.
Presentation: I cannot complain at all here. Everything was presented beautifully, whether it was a burrito packed full with fillings cut in half to a drizzle of sour cream on enchiladas, everything looked beautiful.
Atmosphere: The overall “vibe” of this place was very off. There’s a lot of what seems like empty space. Typically in a Mexican restaurant you’ll see a lot of wall decor and hear that music playing and it brings energy and liveliness to your meal. This is not the case here. The walls were nearly empty and the only music playing was Coldplay. I do like Coldplay, just this isn’t what you expect when walking into an authentic Mexican restaurant. They truly need help when it comes...
Read morePlease read update below: This is authentic Mexican food at its finest. We had the quesdilla and absolutely loved them. I had the chicken fajita and hubby had steak. At other places a lot of times the quesdillas are real greasy, but THESE WEREN'T and I loved that they weren't. They both had flavor and were delicious. The guacamole was fantastic. We ordered a small cheese dip and they provide salsa. The salsa was wonderful and the cheese dip was very good. I judge a place by how their cheese dip tastes and this is one place that has really good cheese dip. We will definitely eat here again.
Update: ate here again on 4/21/24 and had the same thing. Asked for mo sourcream and asked to use very small amount of oil when cooking. It came out swimming in oil and there was sourcream on top of my Lettuce. So I couldn't eat the Lettuce. It was good once I soaked up the oil with...
