This place is kind of like a madhouse. I have to give a shout out to the young Hostess who allowed me to borrow her phone after all Verizon service went out for everyone. I was trying to help someone find us and she allowed me to call them which was so kind. She said that she had AT&T and that's what happened sometimes between both providers. Anyway service overall was pretty good but you could tell maybe they were understaffed because our server for our large group couldn't check on us often we had to flag her down several times she was running around a lot to several different tables. We kind of felt bad for her. Anyway, we were a group of seven and decided to sit on the right side at a long bar-type seating. We got chips and salsa , which were fine, standard, and we tried to order happy hour then ladies night drinks. There's not too much a difference between happy hour and ladies night but since we couldn't really get to the waitress in good time some ordered on happy hour and others ordered from ladies night. My friend and I peach mango margaritas , which were on the ladies night menu. To be clear, there was no indication that the Margaritas had to be anything other than the three flavors offered. Our waitress came back and said that we had to choose one we couldn't do both it wouldn't let her enter it. That was fine so we both ordered frozen margaritas. She , the waitress, came back and told us that frozen margaritas weren't allowed for ladies night. On the happy hour menu , it's clearly marked for no Frozen. But on the ladies our menu, which I took a picture of, it doesn't say that. My friend ended up paying extra for Frozen and I got regular. All the drinks across our table people were happy with. I liked my peach Margarita a lot. Some people ordered food and they seem to enjoy it, but the only thing I ordered food wise was Elote Loco, which I share with a friend. We liked it so much though, that I ordered another one and that was our dinner. I can't speak for the other foods but that mexican street corn is delicious 😋.

Was a bit hesitant to try this spot, but it was close to the hotel where we were staying the night. Happy to report this establishment was an amazing surprise and find! Large, spacious and clean. The staff was pleasant, friendly, and talkative. Upon walking in, you see beautiful art and a fresh tortilla making station - shame we got there closer to closing time, would have been a treat to see them working the station. They serve complimentary salsa and chips, the house spicy sauces are omg delicious, the habanero is packed with heat!!! We ordered; Pineapple Aguas (water), it was tasty, we loved the pineapple bits in it and that it wasn't so sugary. The Taco Mexicano platter with 5 tacos, the grilles chicken, adobada, carnitas and asada were all tasty and delicious. The tacos were very stuffed too, they surely don't skimp on the meat. The tortillas were fantastic too. The Azteca soup was large, filling, and oh so tasty! The shredded chicken at bottom, the jalapeño chunks, the broth, all great flavor profile. Definitely a hearty option. Can't remember the name of the other dish, but it had a piece of steak, chicken, and cheese enchilada - that dish was tasty as well. Would absolutely recommend and come back when traveling through Arkansas.

The flour tortillos made on site are a game changer! This place was bumpin with locals and tourist a like and the staff was up to the challenge. My Hotel suggested the JC Special and I was not disappointed. My daughter had the usual burrito, enchilada...yet the sauce on the enchilada made it more memorable than "the usual". The meat filler they put together for there entrees is superior to most other mexican venues. Seriously- judge for yourself, you will be pleased. This was a destination venue for me (on my way to Amarillo) and I appreciated an atmosphere that was lively, clean, and well staffed. The bill was around 30$ for the two of us so average price for an above par experience. UPDATE!!! Came through on the way home and the takeout was as smashing as the sit down!! I got what was in the photo for 25$ and that included tip and tax!!

I cannot remember ever having a better Mexican food dinner as this one. While Visiting my son..much loved daughter-in-law and grand daughter we dropped in by chance and I was totally surprised at the Quality of the food..the EXCELLENT SERVICE provided by Carmen our server..(GREAT JOB MS. CARMEN).. we appreciated your warm personality and the attention you gave to us. Beautiful atmosphere and the Food was most excellent as well. The only way to serve good Mexican style food is for the plate be full.. to be steaming hot and cheese melting off the edges. I had the grilled Talipa served with beans..a sliced avocado.. on tons of grilled onions ..tomatoes..peppers..and Good Lord himself only knows what great spices were added by a superb chef and crew in the kitchen. Couldn't believe the final surprise when I got the check..so much good food for a very good price.. I don't drink but my kids had some great looking Maragratias .... It was packed being Friday night but both food and service were as good as possible had it only been a few people there. My only regrets were:

  1. unfortunately I had left my camera at the motel . Because The plates were beautiful..certainly enhanced the dining experience and one picture is worth 1000 words. And #2 the rest of our family weren't there to enjoy it. If it wasn't an 9 hour drive this would have to become a weekly ritual. Without doubt I...

Me and my fiance have been here before but this last trip was awful. We were sat on their side tables in gods awful plastic chairs that were almost uncomfortable to sit in. And then, I ordered a chimichanga. We ordered our food, I went to the bathroom, and when I came back my fiance said the food had come out nearpy right after I left. I cut into my chinichanga? Wet. Floppy. Looks like it hadnt even been put in the fryer. So I asked for something simpler instead.

Their special. The rice, chicken. Shrimp, and grilled peppers and onions. My grilled onions and peppers came out looking like they had spent more time on the grill than my chimichanga did the fryer. And not only that, I had to pick out burnt crispies, and clearly the bottom of some tin left in a warmer too long or revenge for wanting my food changed because they were too lazy to actually cook my food.

Then I was lied to when I asked to have it all taken off my ticket. They said the manager was unavailable. What restraunt runs without a manager? Saying he had to pay for my food because I didnt like it.

Enevitably they refused to take it off and let me speak to the manager.

We will not be returning here. Ever again. The worst 55 bucks Ive ever spent.

I didnt even want the food, I just eanted it off my ticket. I barely touched the chimichanga, and hadnt done anything...
