Two weeks ago called in an order with a 15 min wait time. Arrived 30 minutes later, and our order wasn't ready. Sat in the largely empty dining room to wait - for another 15 minutes. Both employees went into the back, so went to the counter and one came back up, handed over the order, and said, "Oh yeah, it's been ready." As if they did not know I was sitting there waiting the entire time for it. We filled out the online form to let management know what was going on. Since we had not heard from them, we called the customer service number who said they would escalate the call to local owners. Within an hour, I received a call from the GM. She stated she had attempted to call multiple times the number on the report, but could never get anyone. I asked if it was the same number she just reached me at without a problem, and she verified it was. I informed her I hadn't had a missed call or voicemail from anyone there, and she told me she doesn't leave voicemails because "9/10 times they don't have voicemail set up" but maybe she dialed the number in a hurry. She proceeded to tell me she hadn't actually read the report but spoke to her employees and would like my side. I reiterated what happened, and she told me just because they don't have customers in store, the are still busy. She also told me she talks to her employees first because she gets a lot of bogus complaints she is too busy to deal with. And also one of the employees that worked that night was already under review. She also spent a few minutes telling me about a complaint from a lady who had the audacity to ask employees for the phone number of the GM. I love Firehouse Subs, and frequent NLR and Maumelle locations. Conway, however, has employees that are clearly lazy and apathetic, and after the phone call I just had, that is likely due to a GM who has no idea how to properly manage customers or concerns.
I love boosting great businesses, and have left one semi-negative review before in my entire life that said "decent but wouldn't highly recommend". After this, I absolutely would dis-recommend the Firehouse Subs in Conway and definitely will not...

When we arrived there were two people in front of us in line in about 15 minutes later we finally got to order. While we were waiting we saw all but one member of the staff improperly wearing their masks, a man go from cleaning to filling the ice in the drink machine and using his bare hands to push it around without having washed them. We ordered our two subs and our meals came out to $30 and let me tell you it was the worst $30 I have ever spent. The subs were gross and not made to our order mine had chunks of brown lettuce and was dripping grease and was barely warm. My husbands sub was warm but tasted old and as we went to grab our taco orders I asked if everything was in the bag and was told that it was and found that it didnāt have the side we requested. This is the 2nd time we have got home with our food (which is a 25 min drive) and open our subs to eat and see that there are no tomatoes, onions, and literally 4/5 pieces of shredded lettuce. We get our subs fully involved and itās so disappointing to not have all the toppings we want! I also add black olives on my sub, and there were 4 1/2 on one side and 3 on the other. (This is on a large sub). We also are all missing our pickle spears... being a pickle loving family, this was a downer too! I normally wouldnāt leave comments like this but we had already had to go back in (when we went to pick up our order) to ask where our extra meatballs were (that we paid for). So on top of that and the skimpy ingredients, I probably wonāt be back to this location in Conway AR for a while! Iām not sure if it matters but we order online and you would think they could get it right if...
