Panda Express is one of my favorite places to eat. However, I do not go to this location much because, in my opinion, they have a negative energy. This time was the same; with an added unsafe, unsanitary practice.
The employees seem unhappy, and it feels tense inside, and unfortunately, there's no drive thru at this location. I placed my orders, and the young lady at the order counter, while fulfilling orders, seemed distracted and bothered. The lady at the register kept calling her and telling her things to say to the guests, which seemed to agitate her more. She asked me to repeat my order, and again, while not rude, she just seemed bothered and detached. She was, however, making orders.
When it was my turn at the register, I also asked for 4 chicken egg rolls. The lady went to retrieve them, rang them up, and put them in the bag. My fault, I did not check my bag until I got in the truck, and my husband started driving away, and he asked for an egg roll. She gave me vegetable spring rolls, and one plate was a smaller size than I requested.
He turned around, and I went back inside, taking only the spring rolls. (The smaller plate would suffice since they charged me for the price for the smaller plate also.)
The lady was ringing up another lady who asked for egg rolls, but she asked her if she wanted egg rolls or vegetable spring rolls. The lady wanted the spring rolls, which she gave her. The young man asked me how he could help, and I told him I ordered chicken egg rolls but was given vegetable spring rolls. The lady's head snapped like she had been snapped 😳 and I advised she didn't clarify with me like the other lady, but I clearly said chicken egg rolls. I also advised that she charged me for spring rolls, not chicken egg rolls. She explained she would charge me for the other two. I said that was fine....what completely bothered me and everyone in the restaurant was she took the spring rolls from me and dumped them back into those on the counter 😱 how disgusting!!! While I didn't do anything wrong to them or touch them, she did not know that. They should have been thrown away!!!
Suffice it is to say, I will NOT pay another visit to this particular location since that is their obvious practice. I am glad she did it openly. The two ladies who were waiting for their food both made comments. As I was leaving, I told them both the same thing I typed above... I didn't do anything to them, but they didn't know that. They both agreed it was disgusting, and as I reached the door, a lady sitting and eating with a gentleman said that's exactly right ma'am they didn't know that and should not have done that. ( I did not see them previously and didn't know anyone else saw besides the other two ladies) I said, yes ma'am and said I would call corporate and leave a review as well. Unfortunately for them, I am a faithful local reviewer, and I will call corporate today as it has been a busy week, but I will have time today.
For complete context... We did eat our food, which was Panda Good!!. However, that practice is unsafe and unsanitary, and it must be reported. Read moreI placed a online order around 6:50ish and was informed that my order should be done by 7:20. I walked in and it was packed with people (1) being that I work at fast food and know how it can be I sat down to wait because I knew by the volume of the store my food couldn’t have been done. I watched the line and spotted my food from afar and kept a eye on it. They had about 5 or 6 people on the line and although my food was on the line it seemed as if though they kept pushing my order aside until I finally seen her bag my food and put it in the area for online pick up orders and went to grab it and fill my daughter’s drink for her kids meal I opened my bag and realized I was missing my teriyaki chicken for the bigger plate on my order and my daughter’s apples. Standing right in front near the registers neither cashier acknowledged me so seeing that my daughter only received 4 shrimp I decided to stand alllllll the way i’m the back of the line to get another small entree. I was finally greeted after being there for almost 45 minutes at this point and explained to the girl that I’m purchasing a order of shrimp but that my chicken was not in my online order. She asked if I was missing both the shrimp and the chicken but being the good and honest person I was I said it was only the chicken that was missing and the shrimp I would purchase separately….. BUT had I known it would be another mishap I would have just ran with both the chicken and shrimp without paying!! I get near the register where the young man asked if I had the plate and I responded that I only had a side of shrimp that was no longer on the line because another employee placed it in someone else’s bag. Overall I was there for almost a hour and even though I placed a order online I was still having to wait not only like 10 minutes but 45+ because all of the mishaps. I not once was apologized to or anything and there was NO sense of urgency or any kind of organization within the crew. As furious as I was I had the right mind to cuss everyone of them out and ask for a full refund but I hadn’t ate all day and just got off of work having to also pick dinner up for my daughter. Read moreI must first say this store used to have amazing service. Today was my absolute last straw. I ordered teriyaki chicken and white rice I got the bowl. I asked for teriyaki sauce on my rice like I always get like I’ve been getting for years. I was told that they come in packs now. Which was fine with me because I know Covid has changed a lot of things. However I was given one pack of sauce that probably contain less than .5 of a tablespoon of sauce. I asked for three more initially. Then I did ask for six because I like myRice and my chicken to be moist. I was told I couldn’t get any more. Then the lady say I will give you another. I said ma’am I will pay gladly for more sauce it’s not an issue I don’t mind paying. She then told me I cannot give you any sauce I said ma’am this is not self serve me I always get sauce on my rice and if you can’t put it on there then I don’t know how much Sauce is in these packets. The manager comes up and says that he can’t give me any more packs and it doesn’t matter if I want to pay it’s the policy so I say well I don’t want it and I hand him the bag back he then says that I am acting ignorant and this is his exact words I was acting ignorant. I have never in my life been so disrespected by a manager I do not appreciate being called ignorant when I am offering money not asking for anything for free then there was a child there he wanted to go after me with a child there he continued until he gave me my money to call me ignorant say that I was being rude say that was being loud he never under any circumstance tried to Deescalate the situation nor Did he try to make the situation right when he obviously saw that I was more than willing to pay and I was not even being rude at first I started being rude towards the last minute because he kept being loud with me he kept talking rudely to me in front of a child.
