We went on father’s days to avoid popular restaurants and long waits, this had good stars so i expected more. Food was okay. I had French toast eggs and turkey bacon that was good that was 9/10. My husband got the burger with bacon which was good too I tasted it, but it came with 5 baby onion rings. The waitress wasn’t skilled on how to handle the situation. She said she would go do something to figure it out yet the manager or owner came to the table. He explained that that’s all the onion rings they can afford to give out because they are to expensive so that’s the portions. I explained to him that if you guys don’t give a full amount and cut it short because of your money than before people order that you should give the disclaimer. That grown man can eat that in 2 mins, they weren’t even that good on top of that, not seasoned and like watery juice dripping out. So to be stingy and they aren’t even good is insane. Then he didn’t even offer to get a few more ON Father’s Day. He just said he has to have an enough for everyone because it’s so expensive. Mind you the place is NOT packed. The waitress was overall nice but coming from a very experienced waitress we didn’t have napkins and had to keep asking for stuff, which I hate running her back and fourth. The kids had chicken fingers and ate it , my daughter didn’t like her Philly cheesesteak she is 13, she said it was plain but she was making the best of it and she didn’t eat the fries. The worst part was definitely the onion ring service recovery and response. Food wasn’t anything...
Read moreOk….this was our first time in Conyers, visiting from Houston Tx on business (June 27 & 28). My husband and I didn’t want to venture too far from our hotel, but we wanted something good to eat. Googled some places near us and this place just stood out to us! Went in and was greeted by the cutest lil server that reminded us of our youngest baby (automatic plus🥰) Her name was Ashley. She was very friendly and attentive. I instantly fell in love with this restaurant! The ambiance, the open space, the music….it was just an instant vibe. Ordered our food and let me tell you…..I was pleasantly surprised!! We ordered a lil bit of everything😂 (Took a late picture, because we had started eating😂😂) we enjoyed it so much, we told them we would be back the next day, which was Friday. So….guess what? Yep, ended back there again!! Same experience!! That’s what I loved about this place, the staff and food and the DRINKS were superb yet again!! I ordered their rum punch and LAWD 3 punches later….I couldn’t make our last outing🥴😂😂😂 I said all that to say that if you’re from out of town like us, visit Conyers Restaurant. Ashley, Jerson and the rest of the marvelous staff will take great care of you. Tell’em dem Houstonians from Texas, George and...
Read moreIf I could have rated the food a zero, I would have. Although the atmosphere itself is well-kept, I was dismayed to discover, after biting into a seasonless omelet and mouthing a spoonful of grits that had not a touch of salt or butter, I called the manager over and asked them if they seasoned their food because it was BLAND. He stated that they DO NOT USE SEASONING! Who does this???? You are in the city of Atlanta, and you dare not SEASON YOUR FOOD? What is the point of visiting a dining establishment if my responsibility is to season my food??? And then, after speaking with another customer who had experience with their sister-restaurant in McDonough, he advised that the food was primarily prepared for the tastebuds of a "certain people." Disgusted. Will never return. The manager even offered to substitute my meal with something else. All the while, I'm thinking to myself, "Everything will taste just as bad if you don't season!" However, I ended up getting a club sandwich. Who can go wrong with that... so I thought. They brought out with no mayo, no pickle,... and yes......
