This needs to be rated with a Zero and I love Smoothie King. I was born and raised in Covington, LA which is where the company began/headquarters so I know this is not how they expect their franchises to be ran. This is why I have been loyal to the brand.
The worst Smoothie King I have ever visited. I am still shaken by what happened. The owner is horrible and shouldn't EVER be allowed to own a business; especially a franchise. If you ask her a question or don't agree with something, be prepared to have the police called on you. After reading these reviews, I see this is her normal behavior and Rockdale County should be made aware because this is her scare tactic. I left her store and was sitting in my truck which is not her property. She sends an employee out to get my license plate. The employee asks me to roll down the window and said, "I'm am so Sorry but please leave, she is trying to get me to write down your license plate number." I said, "for what, I am in my truck." After conversing with the employee who was trying to be apologetic because the owner was making her do something that wasn't right. Here comes the owner barging out the store yelling at the employee, " See this is How you do it. I send you out here to get something" with her camera in hand. I guess she was upset that the employee was being nice to me and explaining what she was trying to do. She comes out with her camera trying to videotape me and my vehicle. As I get out of my truck and stand in front of my license plate she starts videotaping me and cursing. Because she could not get to me with her unacceptable behavior as I kept smiling because I couldn't believe this was the owner. She calls the police being very deceitful and said I was irate, refused to leave her store... now mind you I was sitting in my truck she came outside to bother me. The police arrives and I explained to the officer what was going on and he stated to just leave. I guess that upset her as I proceeded to handle the true business I came there for...the Fedex next door. She tells the officer I want her banned from my store. This woman really needs professional help. Her issue is not the customers she just takes it out on us. Smoothie King Corporate needs to intervene. Read moreThe customer service at this store is nonexistent. They have young unexperienced teenagers working with a I don’t care attitude. I placed an order and I wasn’t satisfied with my drink (Which I’ve ordered the same drink about 4 or 5 times and never had a problem) I immediately let the girl know it didn’t taste the same. The young girl (Esmeralda) was rude and short with me, tells me I can’t get another drink I’d have to pay for another drink because they girl who helped me (kema) asked if I wanted any protein in it. I then explained to her that she asked if I wanted protein powder. She didn’t care told me nope you can’t get another drink. I asked the rude young girl if I could get their corporate number? She tells me “I don’t know it” I then asked her For the store managers First and last name? She says I don’t know her last name but her name is Ebony. I asked for the store locations store number and she says she didn’t know that either very rudely. I google the company customer number and talk with them, the guy was very helpful and made a customer complaint he also said that they guarantee customer satisfaction and if your not happy with your drink they will offer a refund or replace your drink. While on the phone I talked to another employee by the name of Whitney I believe and she was some what helpful but also knew nothing. As I was talking to her a young man by the name of Anthony decided to come put his nose in our conversation telling me “oh your not gonna get a refund it says it rite here” I told him I was on the phone with customer service and they can hear everything he’s saying so be careful I’d hate to see him get in trouble. He then say “so but I’m just telling you” very rude. The young lady Whitney tells him to stop and just keep working but she still tried to get his word in. Read moreI was a dedicated customer until I received the worst and most disrespectful service from one of the employees named Lesly back in June. I ordered a Pineapple Spinach smoothie because it does not have bananas. She gave me a Pineapple kale smoothie which DOES have bananas. After tasting my order, I informed Lesly that I could taste bananas in my smoothie. She immediately responds with a raised voice and full of attitude, "I confirmed your order its not my fault!" After she was done with her tirade, I calmly asked, "So are you going to re-make my order?" Without saying anything, she storms to the back of the store and leaves me standing there for approximately 5 minutes. Upon her return she doesn't say anything to me, reviews the menu with another employee to discuss my order and then greets the next customer while I'm still standing at the register! After taking the next person's order she waves me off and says "You can go wait over there," again with attitude. I move to the pick up area to wait for my corrected order still holding the incorrect smoothie. After another employee hands me my correct order, Lesly makes it her business to come where I'm standing and says, "You can keep them both. I guess you just got a smoothie for free!" To which I reply, "I don't want it, you put the order in wrong." Lesly then replies, "That's what you ordered...but you right...PERIOD!" I refused to argue with a child so I left and contacted the corporate office. Which replied to me immediately and said the store manager, Ebony, would be in touch. Two days later, the store manager contacted me, but I missed the call and she left me a voice message with the wrong phone number! After checking my phone history for the correct number (which was two numbers off from the actual phone number), I called back and left a voice message requesting a return call which I NEVER RECEIVED!!! Needless to say, I will not spend my money where employees are comfortable and encouraged to be rude and disrespectful...
