Outstanding service from Alexandria (and she's a lovely lass, too), our server, along with a mention to KC. I’ve never been to a Taco Mac Restaurant before, but my wife has been to one in Atlanta. If you never been, I guarantee the food you order is much better than other establishments. In this review I will cover an appetizer called Bavarian Pretzel Bites, main meals classic 6-pack Original Hot Buffalo Wings with bone, 6-pack Roasted Wet Lemon-Pepper Wings with bone, 6-pack Sweet Chili Sesame Wings no bone, and their sides: Homemade Mac N’ Cheese, Crispy Brussel Sprouts, and Tots. All wings come with celery and carrot sticks with your choice of ranch or blue-cheese dressing dips, along with a side. For wings, classic deep fried naked, hand breaded, roasted, dry or wet seasonings of choice, bone or boneless. For example, I tried their “classic original hot buffalo wings with bone” (see photo). They were hot and delicious, although I could have probably gone up to a riskier hotness level because I’m into pain. I also ordered a side of “House-Made Mac N’ Cheese” with crispy cheese topping, and they included what I believe are spicy pimentos inside the cheese mixture-ohhh yummy! I tried their “roasted wet lemon-pepper boned wings” (see photo) my wife ordered and it is to die for…wow! I will order that again! It came with a side of “Crispy Brussels Sprouts” and I do not like Brussel sprouts, but this recipe made me a believer. I also tried their “Fried Sweet Chili Sesame without bone” (see photo). They were delicious, and I didn’t think I would like them as much because I love my wings spicy. These were exceptional. I also tried their side of “Fried Tots” that were perfectly fried crisp on the outside, soft and hot on the inside…it’s hard not to love them. Taco Mac is famous for their wings as they spin their options of wings, I am coming back again to try something different on the menu ‘cause they have other delicious menu items other than wings. For example, I also tried their Bites & Shares category “Bavarian Pretzel Bites” (see photo) which is a large tray of small pretzels baked hot with three dipping sauces, but you can pick only two with it: (1) spicy mustard, (2) honey mustard, and (3) queso cheese dip. We love mustard with our hot pretzels we get at the mall, so we tried it with spicy mustard (very good), honey mustard (better than most), and the manager came by and told us why we didn’t order the queso dip. Manager brought over the queso cheese dip within one minute and – ooohhhh – what we were missing-heaven. Those Bavarian Pretzel Bites were starting to disappear quickly. You have to visit this new one in Conyers (located right in front of Lowe’s Home Improvement Store in Conyers)-don’t look for a sign as they did not put one up to keep this sports bar restaurant a secret, so it doesn’t get overwhelmed with crowds like the other locations. I don’t think the secret will hold too long in Conyers as free parking is available (which is hard to say for some other places) AND SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT.

We’ve visited this Taco Mac a few times since it opened, and I remember being genuinely excited to have one relatively close to home. They have a spacious parking lot—plenty of available spots, so parking should not be an issue. I remembered the first time I walked in here I said, “Oh!! This is a Real Taco Mac!”  TVs everywhere, lots of seating, and everything looked spotless—it was brand new, after all.  Although we’ve been here multiple times before, I’m just now getting around to writing a review.   Our last visit  was on a sunny, almost spring-like afternoon. We entered, greeted warmly and informed the host that we preferred to sit outside. He invited us to choose any open table on the patio, and we selected one with plenty of direct sunlight.  This was our first time sitting on the patio, and I have to say, it’s a nice size with four or five TVs out there as well—great for catching games in nice weather. Our server arrived shortly and took our beer orders: Wifey went with a SweetWater lager, and I opted for a Founders hazy IPA.  Don't forget to sign up for their Brewniversity program where you can accumulate points for all the different beers you order. The beers took a little while but eventually arrived, and we went ahead and placed our food orders.I ordered 10 wings—half honey habanero, half lemon pepper, all drums—with a side of coleslaw. Wifey got 10 lemon pepper wings with a side of honey Brussels sprouts. After a bit of a wait, our server came by to check in, and we mentioned that the food hadn’t arrived yet. They went to follow up, and shortly after, our meals came out.I started with the lemon pepper wings, which were solid. But when I bit into one of the honey habanero wings, it looked undercooked—reddish inside—and was also cold. I checked the others, and they were all cold too. I let our server know, who quickly brought it to the manager’s attention. Our server brought out five fresh honey habanero wings, which were much better. Wifey noted that her honey brussels sprouts didn’t have much, if any, honey flavor. Again, the manager stepped in and brought a ramekin of honey to add on the side.  We've noticed that the food can be hit or miss. The staff has always been apologetic and accommodating when issues arise, which we do appreciate, but the inconsistency from the kitchen is hard to overlook. That said, we’ll definitely be back for the beer selection and the abundance of TVs—especially when football season rolls around. We just hope they get the kitchen kinks worked out by then. P.S. We just went back again yesterday and sat outside and had a great experience with our server, Tae. Thanks to him and the manager who came and checked on us two times unprovoked, I’m gonna change my rating from a 3.5 to 4. Hopefully things are trending upwards and like I said, we will definitely be back.

I know it’s the grand opening and I will give them a second chances once the hype goes away BUT here is my honest review. Horrible service to start off with, I ordered wet lemon pepper wings and mild…as you can see in the picture that is NOT wet lemon pepper. Ordered the brisket tacos and it took about 10 minutes to come out, once they come out my order wasn’t right. I waited 20 minutes for them to remake it and when they brought the new tacos she stated “oh they got it wrong again that’s why it took so long to bring out”. My daughter had the boneless wings and fries which the fires were cold, ask could they brought out some hot fries and they never brought any out until it was time to leave. Didn’t refill our drinks not one time, she said since everything took so long and was wrong we will give you a discount. Got the receipt and they double charged me for the tacos and discounted one of the two as a “kitchen error”, so I didn’t receive any discount.

I went to this restaurant with a group of friends on a Friday night, December 20th to be exact. We arrived at 7:48pm and was told that there was an hour, and a half wait, and we were ok with that considering the time that we arrived, and it was Friday, which is a very busy day for most restaurants. When we were seated, we all ordered mixed drinks from the bar. The drinks were not of good quality, made with a lot of juice or lemonade, and very, very little alcohol. There was no taste of any alcohol actually. We informed the waitress, and she sent the manager to our table. The manager only said that they were made with alcohol and brushed it off. She didn't even try to make it right and left us with those drinks. No offer of re-making or replacing with something else. Now, on to the food that we ordered. We all ordered wings and fries. It took an hour to receive any food. Some of us got the fries first, and they were cold. First of all, why bring fries without the wings?? I asked the manager for some hot, fresh fries. Our wings came out at least 30 minutes after the fries, and the wings were cold. We also received incorrect wing orders. They brought someone else's order to our table. We informed the waitress, and she told the manager. The manager came back, and I told her that this is actually my first time at Taco Mac, and that I was very disappointed. She didn't even show concern, she just said that she would have the waitress take the wings back and bring some more. Only one person decided to send the wings back for some hot ones. We were all just done at that point and decided to keep the wings and try to make the best of it. Once the wings for the one person at the table came back, they weren't hot either, they were barely warm. She decided not to send them back again and just dealt with it. When we got our bills, we were charged for the drinks that weren't made correctly, and we didn't drink them. The manager on duty didn't try to make anything right. I told my husband to just pay the bill because we won't be back to this establishment. It wasn't even worth the hassle to speak with the manager again. She clearly showed that she could care less about making things right. The very least that she could have done was to have the drinks that weren't consumed removed...
