This is really not ideal to post but time and time again there’s an issue… don’t get me wrong the pizza is tasty which is why I typically just grin and bare it but today I’m tired. My order is Always the same via call in, online or walk in… house special, no onions, light tomatoes (or on half), light sauce, light cheese, thin crust and double cut. Quite particular I know, but we all like what we like so I order what I like prepared to pay for it. Today I called after getting my pizza practically home and realizing that it was not double cut, not thin crust and with no sauce at all as opposed to light sauce as requested. Fed up I just called to express my dissatisfaction and to inform management that things like this are a common occurrence… out of every four orders two are wrong (tasty but wrong still). The manager on duty Zoe offered to remake it if I wanted to bring it in I expressed to her that I had no desire to return to waste food that way( the crust will still be wasted we’ll feed to the lake duck’s because neither myself nor my grand enjoy thick crust), it was just important for me to inform someone of what I’ve experienced yet again. So indeed she offered a resolve however that resolve was inconvenient, costly ( gas isn’t cheap ) and telling a 4 yr old that we’d have to wait another 20 plus minutes to eat as we couldn’t eat the pizza we currently have lol, would not be and was not ideal. There isn’t much to expect from this other than me to inform others to be mindful to thoroughly check your order as in touch it to check for sauce and onions too, so you aren’t disappointed later and told to check your order next time by management before leaving. So again, yes it was eaten but the disappointment takes away greatly from he experience all together and we want to enjoy what we pay for.

So this place could be good but the prices are just unrealistic. Their basis is because of fresh ingredients and filtered water pizza??? 1: you should be using filtered water since the public water here in GA is not safe to drink. -If you order a salad and only swap a cheese that’s an extra $2+. For Example, the elevated Cobb: description —>Antibiotic-free Springer Mountain Farms chicken, applewood-smoked bacon, fresh avocados, crumbled bleu cheese and sliced Roma tomatoes on a bed of chopped romaine lettuce— I take off the bleu cheese and put Parmesan(+2$) and add croutons(+$2) that takes this $14 salad to over $19+. If you touch any ingredient's the price will bump up over $5 per dish. An that’s just the salads. The pizzas are worse. The minimum price I’ve paid for a medium pizza is like $25+ and it’s a small sized medium pizza. The prices of these pizzas will get you a huge pizza up north with the same fresh ingredients. Advertising that you guys use clean water and fresh meats which are expected from any decent restaurants these days, >>>to not poison your customersssss<<< Does not mean the prices should be triple the normal rates for smaller portions. If it weren’t for the over priced dishes and all the extra customization fees the review would be higher but the prices make it just not worth ordering…

Mellow Mushroom We recently visited Mellow Mushroom for a casual pizza dinner. As expected, it's a self-serve and counter-order establishment, so if you're looking for table service, this isn't the place for you. The restaurant has a vibrant and fun atmosphere, and we found it to be clean throughout, including the bathrooms and order counters. They also have a full bar if you're interested in enjoying alcoholic beverages. We started with an order of pretzel bites, which were decent but could have benefited from some dipping sauce options. For our pizzas, we ordered a classic cheese pizza and a house special. The cheese pizza was excellent – generously cheesy and flavorful. However, the house special felt a bit underwhelming. It seemed like a collection of toppings without a cohesive flavor profile. Overall: Mellow Mushroom is a good option for a casual and quick pizza outing. While the service is self-serve, the atmosphere is lively and the classic cheese pizza is definitely a winner. The house pizzas could use some improvement in terms of flavor balance.

I was disappointed with the service and food, both were ok at best. I went on a Thursday night at about 9:30 with my mom and sister. We stood around for a second until we were told by a lady at the bar to have a seat anywhere we'd like and someone would meet us, which was fine. Our server came but did not seem very happy to be doing so. She handed us menus and asked which drinks we'd like and I said "we'll just go with three waters" as my mother and sister were already looking at their menus. She said "ok, a water for you and you for you m'am?" While gesturing to my mom. I informed her that my mother would be having water and my sister said she'd have water as well. The server returned with our waters and no straws which is ok but did not ask if we wanted any. We continued looking at the menus and after a while she returned and asked if we needed more time to which we said yes. She came back a second time and took our order: 2 California clubs and half a tempeh hoagie with no cheese or mayo and no sides. The food took a little longer than anticipated for 3 sandwiches, and this is coming from a food prep at a cafe who makes sandwiches and salads for a living. The California club was 2/3 room temp ciabatta bread and hardly any meat. For $8.99 I would've expected a little more meat. Also, the bacon tasted like it was cooked to a crisp hours ago and had just been thrown on cold. None of us particularly care for our sandwiches, but my sister's seemed to be the best out of the three. The server came back to make sure everything was ok and we nodded and gave a thumbs up as all of us had food in our mouths. She came back another time and I asked for the check and she said ok. I put $40 on the table (bill was ~23.51) and when she returned almost immeaditely as she had checked on a table just a few feet away I told her I would just want $10 back in change but she smiled and said "I'll be right back with your change." Overall I thought the service wasn't anything too drastic to complain about but when I told my friend who is a server about it she definately said that the server did a bad job and must've been having an off day. I can't recall the servers name but she had dirty blond/brown hair, a tooth gap and smudged black pencil eyeliner. I would not...

TRAIN YOUR STAFF!!! I don’t know what it is, but I always seem to have a problem at this location. I love mellow mushroom but somehow this one always seems to either mess up my order, Give me poor service, or cause confusion unnecessarily.

So today I order a steak and cheese calzone without peppers and ricotta cheese and I made two substitutions not only did they charge me for those substitutions without any explanation that they “normally don’t do substitutions “, which was a complete lie, considering I order to go from here often. My waitress not only neglected to explain this, which I feel this common sense, she also neglected to wait on my table at all. I waited for service for quite a while, I didn’t want to leave my things on the table so I called 4 times ( no answer).

On top of this my order is still wrong, there were still peppers. I wouldn’t be so angry if I didn’t feel that this was almost intentional.

let me clarify that my frustrations began when I finally got up from my seat from waiting for so long to go inside and pay. my waitress was not ready to take my payment so I asked the cashiers “can you just ring me up for it to go order so I can leave.” they explained that they can’t do that. They must wait on the waitress so on and so on. I’ve waited tables before so my frustration is that had someone started an order for a table and canceled it before the food came out what then would happen ? The order would have to be canceled. so why can’t you cancel my order under her tab later and ring me up right now as a to go order?

Lastly, my waitress finally does appear. I note that she has my order incorrect I explain that these charges are incorrect. She still snatches my card and goes and charges it and then throws all the jumbled receipts at me.

I cannot express how upsetting and annoying this visit was I regretted not going elsewhere. Management was dismissive and even more infuriating was the way they treated me like the problem. Poor service, inconsistent,...

My last causal dining experience was spent at our local Mellow Mushroom. We were craving pizza, and after a quick google search, I remembered and appreciated that they offered both, vegan, and nonvegan options for our entire household to enjoy. We stopped by on a Wednesday evening and were pleasantly surprised that they had a steady flow of customers at the time. We were greeted right away and offered our choice of seating; outside or inside. Taking advantage of the weather before it turns cool, and to keep it super covid friendly, we opted for the covered patio. There were 2 other small families in the patio area so we remained spaced out. Win!

Our server was an older middle-aged guy. He was super sweet, prompt, and knowledgeable of the menu. His energy was wonderful. When the time came to place my order, I requested a specialty pizza (Holy Shitake) with dairy-free cheese, holding the additional cheese that came on top. He immediately knew this was along the lines of a vegan meal and even offered to hold or place the sauce on the side that would normally come on the crust, since it was not dairy-free. This came greatly appreciated as most servers are unaware of what encompasses a "vegan" meal and may still bring your food with dairy additives (ie. butter, mayo, cheese) on top of your dairy-free meal.

He remained attentive to all of his tables; checking frequently, refilling drinks. We even ordered an appetizer after placing our order, because his service was so greatly appreciated during our initial order. The entire stay was enjoyable. The background music was nice and not too loud. The food was delicious. Salads were fresh and crisp. Wings were well cooked and sauced. Everyone enjoyed their meal entirely.

For a casual weekday evening, this was a pleasant outing and experience. We will be returning to this location in the future...
