I just ordered 2 pizzas to my house and when I checked them both before the guy left found one was incorrect. After making him aware of this he took the box from my hand and verifryed that it was in fact wrong. Less than one minute later I explained this is why I check because orders from online using the app aren't always right. I asked if he could take it back and get the correct pizza to which he replied "oh I have other stops I have to make, so you'll have to call the store and have someone else fix this." With a sneer on his face and a bit of a snarl when he spoke. Because clearly he has plans to go that extra mile and move up in this company, or not. I explained I would rather cancel the order because the Ben is jerk and I won't deal with him, to which I was told "oh no worries, he's not there right now." Then he said "oh well if you placed the order online it's not our fault you ordered the wrong thing." Uh huh... forget the bit where the app saves your orders and you can send that same pizza to your cart. We get the same pizzas EVERY time with only a small change in one topping if that around every 6 months... I told him "I don't appreciate you getting mouthy with me tonight so why don't you take these back and sort this out with your boss." I shut my door and called the store. Sure the MOD was "sorry" and offered a free medium pizza on our next order, but sorry doesn't feed my son who was looking forward to pizza and hadn't had dinner yet for obvious reasons. The disrespectful behaviour and sneers from that guy was just about more than I could take and stomach with that screwed up pizza! Not to mention, it's going to be some time before we order from dominos again and bother with that free pizza after this. We will be using another pizza place, one that cares about little things like respect and decency. In short, if you're going to bother taking a chance on a wrong pizza and then be told "its your fault" make sure you go "carry out" and save yourself...
Read moreSo we do pizza Fridays. This place is usually my go too. I will preface this by saying we've only had issues here twice. That said, when there IS an issue... They handle it poorly. One previous time we had the cheese all over the top of the box and I think maybe the driver dropped it? It's never happened again. When we called they tried to say it's because of how the pan is made but the pan is our favorite and and we know how it's supposed to be. They did eventually send a replacement out. Yesterday I ordered 4 pizzas and a brownie/cookie. Only 3 pizzas came. I immediately called them before the driver even pulled away and the gentleman took some time to find a 4th on our order, but eventually did and he apologized and said he'd have it coming out way in 15-20 minutes. I called them back an hour later. I spoke to a female, she was polite. She wanted to know who our driver was which I didn't remember. She said she found the pizza and said it had been sitting so she would remake and send it. 30-40 minutes later we received it. So some of us ate 2 hours after the others. No discount. No additionals. No apology after we had been sort of jerked around and had to keep calling back. It was a bummer. So I'd say they do mess up less than some other fast food places in the area, but when it goes wrong expect a bit...
Read moreUse caution when eating food from here because unlike where I worked for Domino's (MacPizza #6622, Texas) they recycle the toppings that miss the pizzas and fall into the overflow rack (a termination offense in our franchise which has 5x the number of stores) plus they do not inspect the pizza at the cut tables or show the pizza to the customer upon receipt. The manager at this store told me it was not possible/fiscally reasonable (due to his store being the "busiest on the west coast") to check the food for quality control. I have a severe (fatal) food allergy to an ingredient that accidentally found it's way under the layer of cheese - good thing my wife found it otherwise I'd be DEAD. I was NOT convinced by the manager's lack of willingness to give a rats ass about food quality. I was told they would have replaced the pizza had I called the night it happened (yesterday) but the error was found in the leftover's we had today so he basically said there was nothing he was willing to do. I guess they should have less customers so Ben has more time to do a professional job with other peoples food. CC'd to Corporate, Ben - YOU ARE WRONG - the customer comes FIRST or like us, you don't...
