FRAUD BILLING Practices. ASK FOR DETAILED BILL... Ordered to go of Mutton Biryani ($17.99), Kuska with Prawns ($18.99), and Chicken Lollipop ($13.99). After 40 mins when i reached there, I was told Lollipop wasn’t available and they said they can substitute with Chicken 65 ($12.99).
When I was asked to swipe my card, I was given a receipt with just the final amount of $57.39, with no itemized breakdown. That seemed off, so I asked for itemized bill(even the date was off on bill). The correct total should have been: $17.99 + $18.99+ $12.99= $49.97 With 8.25% tax, that totals about $54.07. I was overcharged by $3.32.
When I pointed this out, they refunded $1 in cash for the incorrect item, but could not explain the rest of the overcharge. They claimed the difference was a bank fee for using a credit card. However, this was never disclosed before the transaction.
They also advertise a 5% cash discount, but I suspect they’re adding hidden fees on card payments and then making the “discount” look like a deal. Not transparent. Check your...
Read moreTried out the new kuppanna’s Thiru kuppusamy Restaurant, and I’ve got to say — it’s a hidden gem for anyone craving solid South Indian flavors! We ordered a good variety: biryani, curries, appetizers, and kothu parotta, and everything hit the mark. The biryaniwas flavorful and aromatic, the curries were rich and well-balanced, and the kothu parotta? Easily one of the best I’ve had in a while — spicy, satisfying, and full of texture. The appetizers were crisp, well-seasoned, and made a great start to the meal. The presentation was clean and appetizing, and the service was equally impressive. The staff was super polite, helpful, and made sure we were comfortable throughout. The ambience was also worth mentioning — nice seating area, relaxed vibe, and perfect for both casual dinners and group hangouts. Overall, it was a great experience. If you're in the area and looking for a place that serves great South Indian food with warm hospitality, definitely check out kuppanna’s Thiru kuppusamy Restaurant. I'll be going...
Read moreI recently visited the new Kuppuswamy location in Coppell and was very impressed! I ordered the Non-Veg Thali, and it turned out to be one of the best thalis I’ve had in the DFW area. The variety on the plate was excellent — multiple curries with rich flavors, tender meats cooked perfectly, and sides that complemented the meal so well. Each dish had its own unique taste, yet everything came together beautifully. The portion size was generous, making it both satisfying and good value for the price.
The ambiance at the new location is welcoming and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. You can tell a lot of care goes into both the food and the service here.
Overall, Kuppuswamy Coppell is a fantastic addition to the neighborhood. If you’re craving authentic South Indian flavors, especially a hearty Non-Veg Thali, this is the place to go. I’ll definitely be coming back to try...
