Never enough staff to take care of the lunch rush. Over 20 cars have been waiting in parking spots and in the drive way to get lunch for over 40 minutes today. I went in to get a refund for my 'fast' food but wasn't given my money back because the cashier at the window wasn't handing out receipts so I didn't have a receipt to show what I had ordered. Seriously don't come here. The McDonald's off of MacArthur and belt line is a far better choice for good service and fast food. EDIT: I come back for the first time in like 2 years (because I had to be at church soon and I was on a time crunch. This is the closest McDonald's to me). I don't even know why I bothered. Still as terrible as before. Waited in the breakfast car line for about 20minutes only to find out that their speakers were broken and THAT is why the car on the front of us wasn't moving for the past 20 minutes. So when we all finally caught on to what was happening most of us in the drive thru left. Let me tell you what, at 8:00 on Sundays Taco Bell and Wendy's both serve breakfast in the morning. At 6:30 on weekdays Wendy's is open and serving breakfast in the morning. You want good service and still great food and not have to deal with the BS at McDonald's go to Wendy's it's right down the road. PS- Hey McDonald's employees? Not hard to put a sign on your drive thru speaker box saying it is "Not working at the moment, technical difficulties." Instead of making customers wait 20minutes to figure out your restaurant...
Read moreThe employees are friendly , the restaurant is clean, and the service is quick. I ordered two number 7 meals and 4 Stawberry cream pies. The meals were great, but 3 of the pies were not fully baked. I spoke with the manager in charge, and she went out of her way to make it right, She apologized and offered to replace the pies or refund me the money for the pies, We should never take advantage of a business when they offer a genuinely sincere apology and make an effort to correct the issue. I asked for cookies in place of the pies. The following day, I contacted the store manager Irma to praise the manager on duty efforts , Irma invited me back to the restaurant to discuss my experience with her, I went back, and Irma sat and listened, as I explained my issue with the pies, and how well her team reacted to making it a win / win situation. I WOWED me by explaining what may have happened to cause the pies not to get fully baked. She listened to my suggestions and had already scheduled a meeting with her team to discuss standards and expectations to be great at what they do. BRAVO to Irma and her manager in charge of OWNING up to and fixing the issue at that moment , and with...
Read moreWe came to this McDonald's place at 11 AM on the day of 02/18/18 as the second customer, and ordered a kid's box with fries and two fish meals, the girl who ringed our order gave us a plate of # 53 and had us wait at the table. We then watched other customers came in, ordered, and got their foods out one by one for at least a dozen of times, but no food came to us. After a long wait I finally went to the counter and asked. A woman server who was responsible picking and delivering my meals said it was not ready but with no apology and not a word of explanation why the delay. I requested a few times to talk to their male manager (he was actually also serving to deliver the food alongside with that woman), but this very manager was as ignorance as that woman. Both were very rude and not mannered.
I have been eating at McDonald’s for more than 40 years and this was the first unpleasant experience I have ever met. I wish McDonald's central management would look into this matter seriously and take corrective action if they want to win a royal...
