FUBAR Sports Bar — Restaurant in Copperas Cove

My husband and I came in this past week for the first time ever. We grabbed food from the food truck 11/10, it was amazing. The bar staff seemed friendly and the bartenders did too. We were there for about 1.5 hours. The “bar manager / owner” Addie pointed at my husband and I and told her staff something. We then were stopped by staff (we were already given drinks, we are both 24, I had a coke and my husband had a pineapple mixed alcohol drink) I was asked for an ID even though I only had coke. My husband looked up and said “she’s not drinking why does she need to be ID” the bar manager butts in and said “this is a 21+ establishment, we ID everyone” I had no issue showing my ID but it was how rude and disrespectful she was. The staff probably should’ve asked for ID when we walked in, not after they supplied us with drinks and after we were there for over an hour. We probably won’t ever return for the bar due to their rudeness but we absolutely loved the food truck and how respectful that staff was!! The bartender with blonde hair, short, and has been there for awhile was so nice and understanding of where we were coming from. This story is not from me but rather a close relative I had to drive home due to your antics at this bar. Where to begin? Love the free pool and the food truck. Have never had issues there until recently. I started to feel really strange after my 2nd beer and 1st shot. Not tipsy feeling but feeling like I couldn’t move and could barely talk. Some how my bar tab was the amount that it would be for 3 or 4 people to be drinking. I have no recollection after a certain time. Everything up until that time, the memory is crystal clear. I’ve heard from other people there’s some sketch things that go on there to include another woman who had the same issue I did. The employees do drink while working. They brag about going behind the bar to take shots. My drinks never left my sight, so I’m perplexed how something was put in my drink. Those that know me know I’m pretty responsible when drinking and don’t over indulge, so that definitely wasn’t the case. My friend questioned what was going on and asked them to take the unwanted drinks off the tab. They refused. I’d think twice about going here. I went there tonight and they had to cut us off which was okay with me. But all the “regulars” surrounded us and were being very hostile and telling us to leave which I had no problem with leaving. The only issue was I was trying to get my sister to leave the bar and I communicated that with the bartender. That google eyed glasses lady was saying I don’t care I don’t want to loose my license!! I told her I have no issue leaving but my sister is my ride and I need her to leave with me if y’all are kicking me out. Long story short i was treated like a criminal and all the people including the men will gain up on a woman to fight whom ever. I kid you not there was at least 10 men surrounding a woman and one man to leave which we had no issue leaving but they made it a bigger deal than needed. I told the bouncer that there was no reason for all of the drama and he agreed. I told him I have no issue with anyone but there was no reason for all of the non employee’s to treat us that way when we were obviously being compliant.
