I waited a little to make this review since I was so heated this morning. I wanted to swing by and grab a round of drinks for my co workers this morning and we all were disappointed. I initially wanted to go thru the drive thru, but the line was longer than the time frame I had to get to work, I went in and there was two people that had already been served, waiting which meant no line for me (yay). Well, I approach the counter and stood back some since I wasn't aware of which register was open, I waited for a couple mins without receiving any acknowledgement from the staff. So I'm a little on edge, but I knew they were busy so I was trying to stay cool. I noticed one girl that came right near me to prep a drink, trying to avoid eye contact as I tried to make hoping I'd get the USUAL CUSTOMER SERVICE response of, you know, "have you been helped?" or "someone will be with you soon" I got nothing. So these girls that came in behind me stood at the counter and were acknowledged shortly after approaching. I Stepped back hoping maybe they would notice me, but again nothing. A guy approached the registers to help them, at this point I was livid. I asked him if he didn't see me standing there in which he replied "uh, what?" So I Stepped forward and asked loudly and firmly the same thing. His only reply to me basically was "that register is closed" how was I supposed to know if no one was attending one!? So I told him no one was at either. And just stared at him. Then he proceeds to tell me he thought I was waiting for my drink. No apologies, no indication that he was going to help me since I was blatantly ignored by most of the staff and I was there first. His apron stated he was an "army veteran", what a joke. Lack of situation awareness and customer service. I will never bring my business there again. How can 6-7 staff members all avoid a customer. Not to mention how can that many employees act like they didn't see a customer come in? I know for a fact at least 4 seen me. Ive never, ever had an issue with...
Read moreIt is much easier to just go through the drive thru. The whole point of mobile orders is to be able to get in and out so you don't spend your day waiting for something as small as coffee. It seems like every single time I have done a mobile order (only at this location in Cove), I am always waiting. On occasion upwards of 10 minutes...when I had already placed my order 10 minutes prior to that! Unfortunately though, each time, I have watched a minimum of 5-10 cars that were not even there when I got there, leave with their orders. This does not take into account the people who were there and gone before I got there after my order was put in. Absolutely nothing that Starbucks makes, should have you wait for 20 minutes, especially when you are told that mobile orders are designed to eliminate the wait. This has happened on orders of one, and orders of 4 or 5, so there is no reason. It is always shrugged off when we ask. "There are people ahead of you." Unless there is whole slew of people ordering at the same time, there should be no one ahead of me for 10 minutes, then another 10 when I get there. There wasn't even that long of a wait on Black Friday! It seems to be getting worse at this location with each time I order, and now I try to avoid going. They are in the process of losing my business, and I'm sure I'm not going to be the only one. It used to be great. Friendly. Quick. Accurate. About 6 months ago though, the complete opposite started happening. Wrong orders (that could have been a bad thing with an allergy), rude employees, long long waits, always out of the promotional drinks that are advertised to get you in there to try new things...and on and on. I have not had one good experience in 6...
Read moreThe WORST Starbucks ever!!! In the last two years that I have stopped at this location when I didn't want to drive to the one on clear creek, the employees are nearly always RUDE and I THINK, maybe got my order right a couple times?? Then when I went back and finally complained in person, the manager still DID NOT CARE, was rude and unmoved by what I said, as if they just didn't want to be there then guess what....my order was still wrong once I left after speaking to a manager. They're rude, mess everything up and have forgotten my pastries or given me the wrong cake pops for my kids at times. Another time I asked too many questions about they're syrups (I was trying to purchase) and the employee was visibly annoyed at each question asked. When I chose the one I wanted, he grabbed the wrong syrup, lazily walked back to grab the correct syrup and said nothing to me at all, like it was my fault he grabbed the wrong one. No thank you or anything, just a frown like it was wrong to buy syrup and get the RIGHT one. Wth?? Lastly, I seriously don't know why I went tonight. The girls were irritated that I asked about something on the menu, that was there already. I COULDN'T SEE the fine print, I forgot my glasses. So, I asked the employees. How do I know they were annoyed?? Well, because I could hear their every word on the other side of the half closed window in the silence of the night. I didn't know Starbucks hired McDonald's-like employees, they may as well bring in the kiosks at...
