I love wrap/smoothie places that aren't chain like. Not many fit the local one of a kind vibe. Let's start off by entering the shop. Chalk written wall menu's, hand menu's if needed. Staff extremely welcoming, pleasant, educational. We came in unsure of what we wanted and Mario explained several smoothies and wraps/bowls. Gave us a sample of the Green Monkey, and were sold on that. I believe contains Kale, almond butter, and several other great touches. Answered all of our questions about how to get the right consistency of smoothies, what matches well in them. We arrived late and the lady who works there at night was so preciously sweet to offer to heat up the soup so I can try it. I actually love tomato basil and saw it on their IG and wanted it. We were there at 8:30 and they close at 9pm now (or now opened until 9pm). Not much is open in the area at that time in the gables, besides sit down long service restaurants . This can be delivered, or grab and go by ordering for pick up or just sit down. Not many Miami places have small shop, staff friendly, passion in their business style drive, etiquette, vibe, atmosphere. We found out its a family owned business and you get that when you walk in. A great sight was watching the owner of CocoBello the store next door across from them close up and wave and come in to say bye to the staff at greenberry! WHERE DO YOU SEE THAT? Denver? Nashville? Austin? I am so glad we have this place here to spread that sort of environment in Miami. Anyways back to food. We had the greek wrap, and I made my own Cesar sort of wrap on tomato basil wrap. The smoothies of choice were green monkey and acai power. The smoothies are the most refreshing deliciousness I have ever had. I can have after the gym, for a meal, at the beach, whenever! I will definitely recommend and be...
Read moreThis health orientated cafe in the heart of Coral Gables is such a cute hidden gem! I came to check out their happy hour which is an AWESOME deal for those that live or work in the area. From Monday- Friday 5-8p.m. they offer discounted prices on their whole menu. I’m not a huge smoothie person but was in the mood for a coffee so I took a chance on their Coffee Builder $9.49: espresso, coconut milk, banana, protein, honey & dark chocolate. WOW! I completely fell in love with this smoothie it was so good that after I finished it I immediately ordered another one to go which I NEVER do! It was truly amazing and I highly recommend it to any coffee lovers! The best part was that during their happy hour it was only $5 which was a definite plus for me.
For my meal I decided to try one of their bowls which you can choose from their selection or build your own. I decided to try their Spartan bowl $11.99: organic quinoa, romaine, baked chicken, cucumber, tomato, black olive, feta and organic hummus. Once again I’m not a big salad/bowls person but damn! This was delicious! I especially liked that they used baked chicken. Most places that offer bowls like this use grilled chicken which they overcook, causing it to become dried out but not here! The chicken was very tender and juicy. Really loved it and during happy hour their bowls are only $8 which are a steal!
I honestly wish I lived closer so I could eat here more frequently, but will definitely always keep this spot in mind when I’m in the area since it...
Read moreCustomer service is not priority! My office used their delivery service (rather than Ubereats because their fees are ridic) for lunch and the food was mediocre. I ordered a kale Caesar salad thinking that you can’t mess that up, but you can! It was dry and had some spoiled romaine mixed in it. Only gave me a small sauce cup of dressing. The croutons were soggy and it just wasn’t pleasurable to eat. I also ordered the almond bliss iced coffee that was half melted by the time I received it. It wasn’t edible either it had an odd taste. My boss’ chicken and soup was not hot enough, pretty tepid. We also ordered a “Greek” salad. Look, just because it has lettuce, tomato, and olives (only) doesn’t make it a proper Greek salad. It took an hour and a half for delivery. When we called to ask about the status of the order, the woman on the phone was extremely rude and senseless. She told us that another order took priority over ours and that is why it’s taking so long. Please consider hiring polite and courteous people...
