They have 2 menus to choose from -- one for the Thai food and the other for the Japanese food (I chose from the Thai side). My vegetable pad thai with tofu was amazing! I honestly should've bought a 2nd one to-go lol. There are 4 different levels of heat/spiciness you get to try -- I got level 2 and it was a comfortable level of heat (however, if you cannot take spiciness at all, stick with level 1). I also got the banana wontons with ice cream. The presentation was nice, but the flavor wasn't there. There was barely any banana inside the wontons. I had one and was done. This disappointment is the only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5. I ended my meal with a pot of their Oolong tea, and it was wonderful. Aside from the desert I sampled, I had a wonderful experience and will definitely be coming back (and bringing more people). Thanks, Moon!

It's definitely a very enjoyable experience eating out here. Was able to enjoy a night of Thai food with my friend. The service is fantastic and attentive. Atmosphere is comfy, turning a relatively small restaurant into a place that feels very well spaced out with generously large booths that can sit up to 8 people in total per both. The food was delicious and well portioned. I will say my only critique was that it didn't particularly stand out in terms of flavor. At this price point, it's not asking for more than the average place in Miami-- but it doesn't feel like it's offering more either. Altogether, this is a great choice if it's nearby and convenient for you compared to other locations. But it is also not worth traveling more than 20 minutes to eat if closer options are available.

I chose this place for a business meeting last weekend and i wanted to try some good asian food so i found this place in weston..we ordered miso soup and the magic moon roll as an appetizer which was pretty good. Then we ordered chicken katsu ,shrimp pad thai which was really amazing.. however i ordered the pad thai at the spiciest level available and it wasn't really spicy for me otherwise that was a 10/10..it was really really good..Also the chicken katsu was delicious ..it was cooked well and crispy as it suppose to be..the sauce with that came with it was also delicious..i was very satisfied with my lunch..i'd suggest if you really wanna try some good asian food ..you should put this place on your list!!!!

First time eating here since we wanted to try a new Thai & Japanese place. I would never go back, what a nightmare.

Service: The waitress was unfamiliar with the menu. I asked her the size of the rice and she gave me a blank stare. Usually, I am told it's either big enough to share or not. She never acknowledged our table. I was looking around for at least 15 minutes when finally someone came over and I was able to ask for the rest of our food plus the spicy mayo. After the rice finally came, I had a question about the rice (you'll read below why) and I waited at least 30 minutes before she even noticed us. The only good thing she did was mention our rice situation to her manager. He came over and offered rice with chicken in it but it was already too late. I had waited way too long and just wanted to get out of there.

Food: We had the spring rolls as appetizers. Do not get them! They are horrible and sooo hard. They tasted frozen and no flavor at all. My Dragon Roll was different than what I'm used to, surprisingly the best thing in our table. The rice, oh the rice, had a weird taste, two pieces of shrimp, two pieces of steak and that was it folks. Menu says it's supposed to have chicken, pork and squid i believe. I asked for no squid and apparently they didn't add anything. When the waitress finally came to our table, she said the rice doesn't come with chicken. This came as a surprise as I would have never ordered it had I known that. My husband had the Ceviche Roll and I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT!

A few hours after going to sleep, my husband wakes up and starts vomiting the food. He was vomiting for three hours and felt faint. He was going to give the place a second chance until that...

JACKIE is the only reason that we rate this restaurant less than 5 stars. The food as always was delicious, but as Jackie greeted us upon entering the restaurant, she was rude, disrespectful, and dismissive. We had a dog with us, and therefore requested to sit outside, as we did not want to bring a dog inside of the restaurant for hygienic reasons. The tables outside are covered, and while the weather was cloudy, there was no rain falling. She refused to serve us outside, claiming imaginary rain, even when the server offered to take the table, she overruled the offer and denied us service again. She even went so far as to stand outside for 2 minutes, during which time 0 rain fell. She tried really hard to pretend that she felt a single drop, and again, denied us service. She then pretended to ask another server if they would serve us, then came back and said that she “would not force her servers to serve us outdoors and get sick.” While she asked, the second server nodded yes and gestured at the roof covering, and yet she still denied us service. We ordered to go, and she did not call us and let us know our order was ready, making us wait unawares outside. We ate our to go food at the dry & covered tables, during which time, a server sat another couple outdoors at the table next to us. JACKIE made this visit the worst time we have had at Moon Thai yet, as she seemed personally to want to...

Moon Thai & Japanese restaurant is my favorite restaurant. Located across US-1 from University of Miami. Moon Thai has provided my family with many birthdays and holiday gatherings and an amazing number of excellent lunches.

They have many locations but this one is by far the best Moon location.

They have an unbeatable lunch menu of both Thai specialties and Japanese dishes.

My current favorite launch option is there poke bowl. Served with highest quality tuna and salmon along with a variety of Japanese sides in salad form.

They have excellent hot dishes as well.

This location of moon has the most beautiful interior with a crafted space full of beautiful objects creating an enjoyable place to have a meal with friends and family or coworkers.

Large roommate tables makes sharing easy.

Everyone there is kind and very professional.

Moon Thai serve some of the freshest sushi in Miami. And their Thai dishes are really delicious as well.

Come for dinner and make it a multi-course meal. Appetizers and soup, salads and sides, sushi and Thai food. Don't forget the desert.

If you need to pick me up after work you can stop by...
