Bonefish Grill — Restaurant in Coral Springs

Unfortunately, this location was beyond disappointing as far as service. We had an early dinner reservation at 430pm for six people. We were seated promptly as the restaurant was mostly empty at this time. No staff came to take our order or even acknowledged our being there. After about 15 minutes, I found the manager to inform him of the situation, he apologized and sent a waitress over who gave an excuse that another table had all kinds of problems she had to deal with. She took our drink order and did not return for another 15-20 minutes with the excuse that she's also a bartender and the bar needed her help. We have now been there for 30-40 minutes without even water. She left and about 10 minutes later a new waitress came to take our food order - we promptly ordered entrees, she went around the table but forgot me, I had to call her back. At this point I wasn't sure what we'd be getting. Now we are at an hour and half at this table still no food, no one has come over to apologize, offer something. There are two obvious senior citizens at this table. Once again, I get up to go find the manager, he's with the front of the house Manger, who was more appropriate in his handling of the situation but still both gave excuses about being overwhelmed because full for Mother's day - when we sat down at 430pm the place was mostly empty, since tables that came after us were finishing their meal. They also gave excuse that front of the house and kitchen are not talking. None of these issues are our problem, they are yours. Customers don't want to hear excuses, we came here to have a nice early dinner with our eldely mother, and friend. We can be patient people if you apologize (no excuses) and make it right, keep on top of the wait and kitchen staff to make sure we get our food promptly after the initial lack of SERVICE! Thankfully, the food was good, although the steak orders at our table were not hot, they had clearly been under a warmer too long. The front of house manager came by to check on us and offered a dessert if we were inclined to stay for dessert, needless to say we declined that. He did return with a $25 gift card for us to use, but then we couldn't split the bill with two cards for some reason. This was by far the worst restaurant service experience I've ever had. Setting reservations here is a waiste of time. Dont bother. I set a reservation for 7pm and when i came in the hostess said next available table is ours. Many other people came in and when we had to wait 60 minutes because she gave all the tables to everyone else. I never have good service here. This is the first time i came back in 2 years and nkw i know why i stayed away!!!

This review I left above was 3 months ago. I never had anyone give a rebutle from bonefish but I took a chance and went back with a couple of other people. The experience waiting for a tables was about 30 minutes with a 7pm reservation but had the same experience with the same hostess as last time. She says oh they are cleaning off tables now so it should only be a few minutes. She then sits everyone else until I complain then sits me. I opted for 1 of the chefs menu fish selections. It comes out on top of a special rice. The food is excellent but the presentation was very boring and for the price it's really not worth it. I told the waiter that I thought it would be more food. The waiter surprises the hell out of me by offering me not only 1 but 2 more side dishes and didn't charge me. Without talking to a manager he took it upon himself to make me from disappointed to being very happy. If it wasn't for the waiter I would probably just have had another mediocre experience. Because of that waiter doing that I am sure I will be back there soon. I am changing my review from 2 stars to 4 stars. My sister and I decided to celebrate our mothers’ special birthday with family and friends at this location, our mother and I have eaten there several times in the past (prior to COVID pandemic/lock down); we were always quite happy with the food and service. I booked our large group over two weeks in advance. I called several times to confirm/discuss the table seating, location and any updates/changes and other specifics; (our party was a large group of 16 people).

I had very high hopes that my mothers’ special day would be a lovely evening with good food, friends and family celebrating her. I want to mention that our server (server #5, I do not know her name) was unfortunately tasked with serving this entire group alone on a very busy Saturday night, which seems ridiculous that they didn't assign two servers for our party, our server was very sweet, friendly and accommodating; she truly tried her best to make our experience pleasant.

Every dish that was ordered was absolutely horrible! My Mother ordered the lobster tails, which were overcooked and rubbery, I ordered the cedar plank salmon, it was overcooked and dried out. We ordered the calamari appetizer, which was hard like a rock and terrible! Each person in our party complained that their food was overcooked, dried out and had absolutely no taste!! When they received a replacement order, the food was even worse than their original order and even more dried out and tasteless!! This is a seafood restaurant that does not know how to cook seafood! They should be ashamed to call themselves a seafood restaurant. Whoever is in that kitchen calling themself a chef needs to go back to whatever culinary school they went to and ask for a refund.
