Update: We received a call from the owner. The owner was sincere and remorseful. We appreciate the resolution and are grateful to try again with this location.
Whoever worked drive through tonight knew this was coming. My son decided to treat us to dinner tonight and we chose Chick-fil-A. We ordered our food and the young man who took our order was so sweet and courteous. Unfortunately, our order was entered incorrectly and instead of receiving deluxe sandwiches we got regular spicy. When we checked the bag and noticed, I quickly addressed the mistake and even tried to hand back the sandwiches to the young man bringing us our food. At first, we were told that we can keep the sandwiches and that the order would be corrected. Then, the young man came back and told us that the person handling our request changed their mind and instead offered the cheese, lettuce, and tomato on the side- otherwise they'd have to charge us for the sandwiches that were wrung up incorrectly but remained in our possession. As belittling and degrading as it was, I accepted the offer just because we didn't want to hold the line up or look like we were trying to get free food. Then, the young man came back again and told us that the personnel at the window register said that they will have to charge us $1.50 per sandwich (we got 2). Read that again... $3 worth of produce and cheese- after we were degraded and accepted the offer of not even having our food properly made or corrected. At this point, the feeling and the anticipated enjoyment was ruined and I asked for my son to receive a refund. After the refund was issued NOW they wanted to correct the situation and offer us our order for free. We declined because the principal of the situation, we no longer felt to eat this food, I didn't trust whomever was making our food, and we never wanted free food to begin with- just our order corrected. We ended up going to Wendy's instead. My son's name is Tyrone... I can't help but wonder if that's why these people treated us like this because anytime I use the app or my name this never happens to me. This is a horrible experience. I don't even know what to suggest because I'm just shocked. The two young men who helped us were AWESOME! The problem was whoever made this call...
Read moreThis review is for the Coral Springs, Florida location of Chick fil-A. PLEASE know that, according to corporate, in order to get your birthday Reward on the Chick Fil-A app you must, first, go to your profile on the app and enter the month and date of your birth. You have been forewarned. I know this place is presumed the best but I beg to differ. Time b4 last I came to the drive-thru it was morning early in the week and for most of the time I was there I was the only car in line. Rare. Anyway, I ordered from an employee outside and ordered a coffee black style to go with my #1 Chicken Biscuit Breakfast combo. At the window, although having ordered black coffee, I was still quizzed about how many creams and how many sugars I wanted. My bag of food was handed to me then the woman working the window- yes, the one who quizzed me- nearly forgot to give me the coffee. How can they be so flustered when I am the only car in line? In the recent past a person in the window really did forget to give me my drink so I ended up calling Night Mgr. Ricardo who rectified it. As for the breakfast meal itself, the Chicken patty inside the biscuit was overcooked and appeared BURNT. After that I swung by the drive-thru again and ordered a senior citizen drink from a person working outside. At the window I was told the price I owed. What's wrong with that is that Senior Citizen drinks here are supposed to be free of charge. Oh, this isn't the first time the "window" tried to charge for a Senior Citizen drink. Anyway, when I proceeded to explain to the person in the window that because my drink is a senior drink it should be free she (windows employee) did not immediately understand me because her English wasn't good. It seems like I ended up having to tell her to her face the same thing at least three (3) times. This type of ongoing concern here is what leads me to conclude an Average rating applies here in Coral Springs, Florids. 3 stars is still pretty good because I do like it when they remember to say...
Read moreOverall it's a great place.... My recent visit was during an EXTREMELY busy time. They had a long back up in the drive thru as well as inside for counter service. I was impressed that they had 2 or 3 workers outside taking orders on the drive thru and that every register was open. The interior line moved fast and the food delivery to the table was prompt. There are a few things that could be improved upon, thus the 4 Star rating instead of 5. Their "Senior Discount" is only a small drink instead of the traditional % discount.... It's at least something but I wanted a large drink and the cashier could not figure out how to do it.... Parking is definitely a real issue when they are busy.... The drive thru traffic blocked at least 6 parking spaces... A possible solution would be to have the workers somehow direct traffic into and out of those spaces or use those for their personal vehicles, freeing up spaces in the rear..... Of course the handicapped parking would need to be relocated. When the drive thru is backed up it makes the handicapped spaces unaccessible until the traffic clears out anyway. They were VERY busy on the day of my visit, I fully understand that huge crowds can be a bit overwhelming. That being said, while they were polite, it lacked the warm and welcoming attitude that is generally portrayed at most other locations of this chain. I'm sure it was partially the HUGE crowd but each guest should feel Welcomed instead of it bothering the employee. Still recommend Chick Fil A. Their food was perfect and the portion was...
