My wife and I decided to stop in for lunch at Bonefish Mac's expecting a quick bite. Walking our hostess was very nice and accommodating as we requested a booth, we were sat at table 41 within 2 minutes which was a great start to our lunch. The start or our dinning experience was smooth as our server greeted us within 5 minutes.Colleen asked us if we wanted anything to drink but didnt have any suggestions or brief breakdown of the lets say "lengthy menu". We ordered our apps of steamed clams which came out fairly quickly and placed the entree order along side of of our apps so we expected them to follow the clams within a short period. At this point things went down hill... We were approached by our server to see how the appetizer was in which we replied was great, but from that point our server was missing in action. Our entree was brought to a table by a manager and the food met our expectations for the price associated. We ate our meal and still had no table touch from our server to see how the entrees were or to see if we needed any thing else to complete our dinner service. About 20 minutes had gone by I had still not seen our server so I got up and retrieved our to go boxes and bags from the server station and requested to speak to a manager. I informed the gentleman of our server missing in action and he went to grab her from the back. I understand there is a point in time where servers complete there shift and go to the back to start their side work which needs to get completed before they can go home but Colleen completely forgot about us from the second the apps were delivered. We were both extremely unsatisfied with her service and this will definitely impact our decision to go back to Bonefish Macs. Upon Colleen approaching the table after management informed her we were looking for her the only reply we received from her was "Did you think I was really that bad?" In which we replied it's hard to judge your serving experience since you were at our table for a matter of 2 minutes the whole time we ate at the restaurant. No apology for her not being present just a brief slick comment. We gave her $50 and asked for our change for our bill and she shorted us our change and just rounded down to the next dollar. Extremely disappointed in the quality of service received from a local hotspot with such a great reputation. 2 out of 10 stars for service 8 out of 10 for food quality...
Read moreI come here at least once every week or every other week. The food and service is usually great and always bring people here from out of town or family and friends that live near by. My family and I were here this past Monday and our server Brianna was absolutely horrible. We waited 35 min for a table which is totally fine but once we were sat in corner round table it took over an hour for our food to arrive. When asked to speak to manager twice because we had not seen our server nor received our food, Brianna finally showed up and said had no idea why it took so long but “it wasn’t her fault” Although I watched her entire time after taking our order that I believe she forgot about us. I even asked the hostess to speak to manager and still no one came over. We finally received our food and half the meals were cold as I saw 2 of them sitting in expo window for quite some time. All that was done was a fresh basket of fries given to us only to then be neglected for rest of the meal. When Brianna finally returned she argued with us with nothing but attitude and then disrespectfully dropped the check and with snarky attitude said “Don’t worry about leaving a tip, it’s not needed” Ummmm excuse me? I have managed several restaurants and never would this be allowed. Twice no manager came over and family of mine even personally knows management. We had 2 children with us and they behaved better than that. To say I am disappointed is not even close to how I feel. Brianna and other employees need a good talking to and reminded that your job is CUSTOMER SERVICE. Not once did I feel we were rude or asked too much. Read moreWent to entertain guest and watch basketball tournaments. A perfect venue for the same. Menu options, price and food were very good for a sports grille experience. But all of that was ruined by abhorrent service from beginning to end. Greeters never smiled and were not welcoming. When seated after a brief wait the walk to the table was complete silence by the attendant. They all could have been better employed at a funeral home. The server's high point was taking the order. After that, one meal was not recognized as being missed until brought to her attention and that opportunity only presented itself after my guest had completed their meals. After the server was asked to provide various items she failed to deliver on many request. I had to go to the greeter station to get replacement cutlery. Beers were brought by a different server but only after the chilled glass was dripping moisture from waiting to be picked up. Beverages were never refreshed even after requesting. Unfortunately the server was oblivious to opportunities to increase sales or her tip. To top it off the server acted as though I had no reason to be upset because the missed meal order had finally been placed (which I said its too late after everyone else had eaten their meal!) In fairness I did not see the same level of inaction to other customers by their service staff and they all seemed to be enjoying the dining experience and the tournament games as there were ample large screen TV's for viewing.
