China House — Restaurant in Coral Springs

Even though this was not the worst chinese take out i've had this is a pretty close second. They used to be amazing when they first opened up, I don't know if they changed management or chefs or what its horrible now. I ordered Hot and sour soup, dumplings, moo shu beef and sweet and sour chicken. The hot and sour soup was this gelatinized gloop. It was thick. It was nasty. Had no salt. Had to add a ton of soy sauce before any flavor came out. The dumplings were almost all bread. Same for the sweet and sour chicken. The moo shu pork........they gave me flour tortillas as pancakes. Really? Admittedly the moo shu had some great flavor....but calling it beef is such a bad idea. I think in my whole plate I had two pieces of beef. It was all cabbage. There was sauce in a little cup. That was almost frozen. Definitely this thick nasty pasty thing. Not really sure what it was for, I think for the moo shu, but by the time it thawed out it was this watery brown stuff. I've given this store a couple different tries. They've clearly tried to get down to making money and ripping off their customers. It really really saddens me since they used to make the best food ever. I now defer to Wong's. I am never giving this store another try. I think 5-6 chances was good enough.

Adding a side note: just tried the steam rice. Even that is mush. Good job guys. You can't even cook...

MIXED BAG I live in the neighborhood. I've been going there on and off for about 5 years. However I have recently stopped ordering due to unclean food handling. (see below)

SERVICE IS AVERAGE to fair for a takeout place. It is what you would expect. Not very warm and fuzzy just business like.

FOOD IS OKAY Sometimes very good , sometimes over cooked or reheated. It is not consistent.

WARNINGS * watch your charges,if you use credit card, delivery person charged a tip that I did not authorize as i gave him cash*.

Also they cut and prep semi cooked chicken wings and spare ribs on the same cutting board. they use the same cutting board and the same clever. Really grossed me out. So much so that I stopped eating there. I was in picking an order up and found saw this happening. After that I could not order from there again. Who knows what else they are doing that cross...

Wish I read the reviews, but was in this plaza shopping strip and decided to take a chance. Make sure to filter the reviews for this nasty Chinese take out to show LOWEST postings first. That is who they are, low of the low. I placed a to go order in person and they charged me $2 extra for sauce on the side. THAT IS RUDE NOT TO SAY SOMETHING, AND THEN NOT PRESENT THE ITEMIZE BILL BEFORE CHARGING. Not extra sauce, simply the sauce on the side instead of on top of the dish. Rice tasted like Rice a Roni from a box, not fried rice. Egg roll tasted old because oil not changed. Chicken in veggie combo meal tastes like rubber, disgusting. Please...
