Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Coral Springs

Jersey Mikes is a causal submarine sandwich chain. Founder of the company, Peter Cranco purchased his first sandwich shop in 1975 at the age of 17 in Point Pleasant, New Jersey. In 1987 he began franchising his sandwich shops. By 2015 the number of Jersey Mike's shops exceeded 1,000 and Cranco is still the owner and CEO of the company.

I stopped into this Coral Springs location one hot night looking for a cold and easy supper. As I am a Jersey girl I appreciate the New Jersey/ Point Pleasant graphics on the wall. You can order hot subs like a Philadelphia cheese steak, cold subs, sides, drinks, and desserts. I picked the original Italian for $9. The thing I really like is they slice the meat fresh for your sandwich. It's then topped and dressed the way you like it. The friendly kids who worked the counter really hustled. I was in and out which was great. They have a rewards club to that you can join and earn points to redeem for free food.

I’ve never been to a Jersey Mike’s before, but (dare I say, as a native Floridian) it was better than a Pub sub??!

Staff is super friendly, meats are sliced fresh for each sandwich. The topping options are simple, and everything is fresh. My compliments on the thinly sliced onions, superb!

I had the mini Original Italian and it was filling without being too much. The menu offers a gluten free bread option (Udi’s) and a meatless sandwich option (portobello mushroom swiss).

The restaurant is clean and staff are following food safety protocols for sanitation, gloves, etc. Prices are reasonable. My sandwich with chips and drink was $12 before tip.
