I'm done. My husband and I have been customers at this location for over five years. We usually pick up dinner on Moe Monday. The customer service experience has gone from bad to worse. We embraced the price increases, and the mandatory drink purchase--We understand this is the cost of doing business these days.
The trouble began when they would not include my salad in the Moe Monday deal. What is the difference between a salad and a bowl? I want the lettuce on the bottom, and no rice. But they would not honor the Moe Monday price. Fine, next time, I explicitly asked for a bowl with a little bit of rice on the bottom, and asked if they could put lettuce on top of this--they refused. I don't care if it's romaine or iceberg, I just want the lettuce on the bottom! The next time I was told there is now an additional fee for guac because it's Moe Monday. Literally the sign on the door says "Burrito or Bowl", no fine print about guac (this isn't Chipotle!). I said I'd pay extra for the guac. Today my husband went to pick up lunch, tried again to order a bowl--rice on the bottom, then lettuce. They refused to price this as a bowl/honor their Moe Monday deal over the lettuce--the woman at the register actually said to him "You've been here before. You know better". So he paid full price for the "salad", and I had rice that I didn't particularly want anyways to try to conform to their rules of what qualifies as a bowl or salad.
Almost every time the women who work there speak Creole, exchange glances, and appear to laugh at me/my husband. The Moe Monday prices have been hard to give up, but I'd rather pay more somewhere else, and not have these hostile and uncomfortable...
Read moreI frequent this Moe’s location regularly, and it has always been one of my favorite places to eat. The food is consistently fresh and flavorful, and the staff is usually friendly, welcoming, and professional. However, my most recent visit was completely ruined by one employee, Nancy (a woman in a pink shirt and hat), whose behavior was beyond unacceptable.
I understand that not every day is a good day, and the last thing I would ever want to do is make someone's job harder. I respect people who work in customer service, but Nancy was downright monstrous. She was rude, aggressive, and went out of her way to target customers. I watched her publicly humiliate another customer over their BOGO deal, yelling across the restaurant and embarrassing them in front of everyone. Then, even after I had already received my order and was sitting down, she suddenly screamed at me from across the restaurant, falsely accusing me of stealing soda when I only had a cup of ice. It was completely unnecessary and humiliating.
At that point, it felt like she was looking for people to harass, rather than doing her job. Instead of diffusing situations or acting professionally, she stormed to the back to gossip about customers with other employees, proving that her nasty attitude wasn’t just a moment of frustration, but a pattern.
I have been coming to this location for a long time because of the great service and atmosphere, but this experience left me completely shocked. Moe’s is an amazing restaurant, and I hope management takes action because no customer should have to feel humiliated just for...
Read moreThe food is fair, but I guess what you would expect from fast food Mexican. The service is awful. They act like they're doing you a favor by preparing your food. And this is the 2nd time in a row they forgot my salsa. Restaurant is run down. Only went back because my son was begging. Had a really bad experience prior to this where I ordered on the app, but there was a glitch that made the pick up date in the future. When I arrived, of course, my order wasn't prepared. So I showed them the order and asked them to make it. They tried to charge me even though I already paid online. Had to get a manager on the phone to work the situation out. *Update: This place is completely unredeemable. I'd never go back if it wasn't the only location close to me and my kids love their food. Decided to go on free queso day. Got into an argument with the staff when they refused to give me two free cups of queso, even though there were two people, two orders, and the offer clearly said PER person. I was told that the register wouldn't allow me to get two free cups and I'd be charged for one, which of course was wrong. So in the end, I walked out with my two free cups of queso, but not without a fight. I'm wondering if this store is paying commissions to their employees for mistreating customers. It's...
