Another GREAT find! Have you been? With two locations (the other one is in Boca), this gem of a restaurant is a unique find. With a very wide assortment of beers ‘on tap,’ the meal is another type of ‘tap:’ Spanish Tapas. Because of the menu style, one has the opportunity to order numerous small items, each presented very artistically and tasing like the masterpiece each appears to be. If you are new to Tapas, this is a perfect place to immerse yourself in an eclectic mix of tastes and textures. If it’s already your thing, you’ll find the variety and complexity of each dish to reward you for your visit! The quality of the food is exceptional and even the shrimp are wild caught (not as easy to find these days). The service was just as enjoyable. Jade and her co-worker made sure we were pleased with every aspect of our visit and kept close by to assure it stayed that way. The overall experience can be described as “FUN.” Can’t remember the last time I would have chosen that word to describe the dining experience. The dishes kept coming, and each was at least as enjoyable as the last. Plenty of free parking right out front, this location is located right next to Regal Cinemas. A must try experience! Didn’t take many pics, was too busy having FUN! One final reminder: read a few reviews complaining about the “overpriced dishes that were very small / ‘tiny’ portions.” Tapas are intended to be very small, bite-sized portions that are to be combined with other Tapas selections to enjoy with a drink (such as beer or wine, or even sparkling water). So, the individual items are certainly small—as they must be. Expect to order several different items per person. If this is a new experience, the staff certainly seemed more than eager to help. Everything during our visit, including portion size was as it should be. Just had to be said. :-)

Exceptional food. Tapas are truly genuine with masterfully concocted with fresh ingredients. As a retired airline pilot I have visited many countries and because of my Hispanic heritage I've always gravitated to Spain. My favorite layover city was Barcelona and have missed their tapas. I can't believe yesterday was my first time at Patio Tapas; I just didn't know it existed. I asked Max (our server) and he stated they had been there for a year. Previous businesses did not last long; however, Patio Tapas & Beer will. The quality of the food is top rated. The service was outstanding. Prices were reasonable and . . . . . .ohhh did I say the food? We had a variety of my favorites and next time will try "other" parts of the menu. --Chorizo al Vino -- with bread to dip with the wine sauce --Huevos Atrufados - - Wow! If you like truffle mushrooms . . . --Pulpo a la gallega - - Fabulously tender and flavorful --Crispy Pork Belly - - Max recommended . . and GLAD he did . . so succulent --Churrasco - - medium rare Skirt Steak with chimichurri sauce and potatoes --Tarta Santiago -- Dessert . . . with some café latte and café macchiato. I highly recommend Patio tapas for your next outing. You will not be disappointed.

📍 The Patio Tapas Westview and University, Coral Springs We were thrilled to see our favorite tapas spot in Boca has opened a location in Coral Springs! Located in the old American Craft Brews spot next to the regal cinemas, the indoor-outdoor restaurant delivered excellent food and ambiance. They have a large wine and beer list with full bar. We enjoyed the Churrasco, patatas bravas, chicken croquettes, a seafood mix of shrimp and octopus in a wonderful garlic broth, and an assortment of montaditos (bruschetta-like appetizers served on slices baguette). They offered live Spanish guitar music on the patio tonight too My only critique is no check was presented. Instead the server just handed my husband her ordering handheld with a total, no breakdown on it. So you just trust it’s correct and pay on the handheld. Personally, I prefer to receive a check to review before paying to ensure accuracy. Highly recommend you make a trip to check out this new spot.

Dined with my boyfriend here during happy hour. The girl Veronica is unpleasant. Her energy felt off from the start. The bartender was very nice. I asked for the Happy Hour menu. I was given like 4 menus. I grabbed the happy hour one and asked Veronica if that was the happy hour menu and was told yes. She's the one who said yes not the bartender. She should have explained that only one side was the happy hour menu. She also should have taken the time to explain and answer questions as it was our first time there and eating tapas and we clearly had questions, but she walked away leaving the bartender who's only been there for a couple of weeks to answer them. $4 dollars for a toast that's about 3" long with the topping of your choice. We had three, the toppings were delicious but the bread was not very fresh, was chewey like day old bread or maybe that's how it's supposed to be. We had two entrees. Churrasco and Crispy chicken. They were both delicious although the steak was very thin. Beautifully plated flavorful. We decided to order a couple of more things. We asked about the croquetas. How many were there if it was only one. I was told five. Only one arrived. I was told the cheese and jam wasn't on a montadito. I asked if it was not to bring it because I don't want anymore montaditos since I wasn't a fan of the bread. It came on bread. Again she was near by, she could have given him guidance being the manager. She knew we were asking questions. When I asked about the croqueta and caw cheese and jam, she said no, do you want to order more, I said yes and she offered to take back the montadito. A good manager would have just apologized and let us keep the montadito and take it off our bill since it was now trash and can't be resold. Her attitude made me feel like we did something wrong. It was really uncomfortable, this was in front of other customers as well. This lady who was apparently a regular. Made me so uncomfortable, I asked to cancel the croquetas. When I asked for the bill and saw the discrepancies, we inquired and were made to feel like we're cheap or trying to get stuff for free when really we were just misinformed. She was speaking at a volume where others could hear and people were staring at this spectacle, while the lady next to me was making faces at the manager like this is our fault. The way she was speaking to us was humiliating like we were at fault then when this lady left while we were still paying she looks at her and whispers sorry making a face. Sorry for what Veronica?? I'm the one who's sorry I had to deal with you. The poor bartender was like take it off my check because instead of understanding what I had explained she kept repeating about the menu like I'm an idiot and couldn't comprehend her English. We left feeling horrible. Not the experience we were looking for at all. Will definitely not be back or recommend. I'm yelp elite and Google guide and I run a food vlog for a local publication. I eat out a lot and i write about local Happy hour deals. Her attitude was so nasty, I forgot about the food. She also took away our salt and olive oil without asking, the whole time she just had a stank attitude. Passion Fruit margarita was good but beer was $8 for a draft of yuengling!!! During freakin Happy hour again cuz she failed to explain only bottled beer was included. Followed by more attitude "do you want me to discount that too" All of these problems would have never happened with proper communication. I was there to learn about your Happy hour!! That's all I have to say. I rarely write bad reviews as I love dining and i know a poor review can hurt a business but man this really ruined my evening. A little kindness and discreet demeanor goes a long way Veronica. We are in mourning too. You never know what someone is going through all in all the place was a bit overpriced and you shouldn't be in the business Veronica. You're a horrible...

Went here on a Thursday evening to celebrate a friend's birthday with the girls. All but one table was open, so not busy at all. We walked up and was greeted by a waitress saying Happy Hour was over so we wouldn't be getting those prices. Mind you, we didn't even ask about Happy Hour. We then picked our table and were given paper menus and she walked away. Ten minutes later we had ordered drinks and a bottle of wine. She did bring waters for the table while waiting and asked about ordering food. We needed more time so we asked for a few minutes. She came back with drinks and we ordered apps during that time. She gave us no help or recommendations at all for food to order for our group. While waiting for the apps, another waitress came up and asked what we wanted to order for apps. We explained we had ordered them and were waiting. She promptly had an attitude and walked away. We felt very pressured all night about ordering. Then was told the kitchen closed in 20 minutes so we had to order now. She then asked for the menus back, but because they were paper aome were soaking wet and ripped. When we told her she rolles her eyes. The food came out but at all different times and was just okay. We spent almost $400 and had rude servers and rushed throughout. We will not...
