This is our first time here, we walked in, and it took about 5 minutes before anyone said, "Hello, or Welcome In." The prep line is so messy. There is food all over the place. There are 4 employees. The shift manager, I believe, is training a new girl. We ordered our food, and then as we walked down the line and the manager rang us up, she THEN asked if it was for here or to go. We pay for it before it's finished. I ordered a bowl (which was put in a to-go box) my husband ordered and grilled a burrito, which was wrapped in aluminum foil. We fixed our drinks, still waiting on our food. There was so much trash at the drink station that my husband had to clean it up so we could fix our drinks. They are getting busier, can't keep up with who's order is who's. Our food is sitting on the counter, and as they are bagging it about to give it to someone else, my husband said hey is that ours?" It had sat on the counter for about 10 mins while we stood waiting. I had to get napkins and wet them with the water from the fountain to clean our table off before we sat to eat. The whole dining area is a mess. Dirty tables. Trash and food on the floor. When we sit down to eat, my food is cold. We have been here about 45 minutes, and no one time has an employee come out yo pick up, wipe down, or sweep anything in the lobby. I'm very disappointed. $30 for 2 people and not impressed at all.

We went recently (July 2023) on a weekday at noon and the crowd was very light. We were able to walk right up to the counter and order. I got the Burrito Bowl which was BIG and very tasty. My friend ordered the Burrito which was very good, but also disappointingly small. After you order there is a baffling array of ~15 add-ons (sort of like a Subway) to add to your meal. I'd need to go 3 or 4 times to find a pleasant tasting and not so confusing combination. Some of the add-ons are added-cost, so my $9 Burrito Bowl ended up costing about $16... so if you're on a budget, be aware and pick wisely. All-in-all it was a pleasant meal in pleasant surroundings. I would advise sticking with "the bowls" and picking sides carefully. Eating area was clean and spacious. Private parking lot with plenty of parking space. Easy handicap access.

My husband and I have ate here at least 3 times since this location opened. The 1st time was during opening week. We were very impressed with the organization of operations as people were lined up almost out the door. This streamlined organization continued every time we ate there. Excellent choices on the menu so you can customize your meal. The food was very flavorful and delicious. Plenty of food so, we had leftovers for dinner. The staff asks, when you are ordering, if you want items put on the grill to heat them up, great choice for those wanting items heated. This location has always been clean, organized, great food, and staff! Our 2 meals were around $23.⭐️ Highly recommend! We love the management crew here! 5 STARS

I’m so embarrassed to be writing this review, but my experience with this Surcheros left me shaking because they were so rude to us. We ordered a Nacho w chips on the side for pickup on DoorDash. It said 15-20min but when I arrived they said their system didn’t say it was needed until 2pm but that they’d start working on it right now, that was no problem with us, I thanked them profusely! We waited another 20min after that (still no problem!) and when I got my Nacho, there was no queso. No problem, we went inside and asked for it. They said they wouldn’t give me queso because I ordered a burrito bowl, not a nacho. We told them we were sure it was a nacho and then Emily walked to the back with another female and brought back a printed sheet of paper with someone else’s order on it (they had an order right before me with a name that sounded similar) and told us AGAIN that we ordered a burrito bowl. At this point, we were just going to buy a cheese dip, but I realized I could pull the order up on my phone. I did that, Emily looked at it, seen that it said a Nacho, but said that wasn’t good enough and told me to walk back to my car in the rain and bring their order receipt that was on the bag. While I did this, she got a male manager. I showed him the receipt and instead of just apologizing for the confusion, he proceeded to ask me 3x if I maybe just didn’t see the queso in my bag. At this point, I was so embarrassed and confused because at first I was told it was because I ordered a burrito bowl and then I was asked multiple times if I just didn’t see the queso. I did eventually get the queso but I left feeling so embarrassed that I could have cried. When I went to eat my food about 10min later, I also realized the queso had the texture of milk, even after getting cold. I worked at Surcheros at another location for years and still eat their food often, I’d never go back to this location. This is the first negative review I can think of that I’ve left for...

I placed a online order and it told me to pick up the order at 1:22 PM. It is a Sunday and I understand that the restaurant is busy, but no one even came to the window until 1:30. At that time the line finally slowed down. Then they started our order. Then I asked to speak to a manager. She tried to explain to me that it is Sunday and that they can’t do orders before then. I understand if you’re busy, but then don’t allow your system to state you can pick up an order at 1:22. You would make it a later time. What was more frustrating is that she didn’t try to tell me I was cussing at her. When I know I wasn’t. She just didn’t want to deal with confrontation. Knowing that they were wrong. I could’ve picked up my order faster by walking in vs. ordering my order online and giving them 30 minutes to make the order. That is unacceptable. My husband and I both deal with restaurants regularly. So I understand the pressures of restaurants. But you can’t go throwing out accusations because you don’t wanna deal with the problem. The worst thing I said to her was why the hell would I have ordered online versus going around. I hope they have video on their security camera because she tried to tell me I cussed at her when I know good well I didn’t. She needs some better training, so does the rest...
