I don’t understand why the OWNERS/management doesn’t care about this store. This is a prime location for the county but this is the WORST Subway in Habersham County. We LOVE Subway...but will not return to this location until we hear that it has improved. This location is ALWAYS under-staffed. Because it is under staffed, the wait time is FOREVER. Because it is under staffed, the store is always dirty (the health department score is in the 80’s which is unacceptable to me). I’m guessing this location gets the least amount of business because of the aforementioned issues. Our most recent experiences at this are as follows: last week (first week of July 2019) we stopped in because there were very few cars in the parking lot and we figured we wouldn’t have any trouble getting in and out quickly. I pulled up to the store and in front of me, at the outside tables, were your two employees (young females) and one employees boyfriend. I know it was her boyfriend because she was wrapped around him sitting there. They were all smoking (on your dime). A customer walked up to the door and entered the store. One of the employees got up and went in. My daughter got out of the car and followed her in. I watched the employee walk behind the counter, put gloves on and start taking the other persons order. Without washing her hands. Meanwhile, the other employee and her boyfriend finally stood up, had a mini make-our session, and then he left and she entered the store. I texted my daughter and told her to see if SHE washed her hands. She did not. My daughter then texted me and said that they weren’t even taking the first guys order yet. They were trash talking another employee who was not present. At that time I told her to leave and we would go to the other store on 365 in Baldwin. Which we did. My daughter told them (Baldwin store) about our first experience. They were not surprised. They said that they had the same owner as the Cornelia Store (again...why aren’t you doing something?!!) and that management is terrible in Cornelia (duh!). The Baldwin location was clean, fast, friendly and efficient.
Tonight, I was mowing grass and sent my son to pick up subs for dinner. I forgot to tell him to go to Baldwin. He came home with the food and said that the service was TERRIBLE. It was slow, dirty and the one employee who looked like she knew what she was doing was CRYING while she made our food. I’m guessing that she’s overwhelmed by running the place alone...or maybe it was the employee with the boyfriend and he broke up with her. The ONLY nice thing I can say is that the ingredients were fresh. However, the sandwiches were HORRIBLY constructed. When we unwrapped them half of the ingredients weren’t even on the sandwiches.
CORNELIA SUBWAY OWNER: I’m calling you out! This is not a new issue. (Read all the other reviews-you’ll see) This has been happening at this store since it opened in this new location, however long ago that was...so don’t you dare try to blame your overworked and undertrained employees...these issues belong to YOU!!! If you can’t do better by your stores and employees, GET OUT and let somebody decent take over!!!

Read moreWe visited this Subway back in July and the service we received was so phenomenal that I felt compelled to write this review nearly three weeks later. We were visiting from another state, and had the responsibility of providing lunch for an extremely hungry high school cross country team to take on their hike.
We had attempted to call the Subway closest to our lodge to place an advance order so we didn't overwhelm staff at lunch time, but we could not get anyone to answer the phone. We drove to the location, only to find it was abandoned with a sign on the door indicating that they were closed. We googled locations & drove to the next store, only to be flatly informed that the internet was down and it was cash only. Given that we were paying for the order with gift cards, we were forced drive to yet another location, which was another 30 minutes away.
To say that we were frustrated when we entered the store would be understating it. Our hopes were not high when we arrived, but let me tell you- the two young girls that were working that day absolutely turned a frustrating experience into a wonderful one.
Both girls were extremely friendly, enthusiastic and helpful. They didn't bat an eye when we told them that we needed to order 17 footlongs (which was really 34 various six inch subs), all different, and to go. Instead of being annoyed at us for placing such a large order during peak hours, they were genuinely excited to help us. I heard the girls comment numerous times while were waiting how much they enjoyed their jobs, and it honestly showed.
Their attention to detail was amazing, and they went above and beyond to pack (and individually label!) a wide variety of condiments & sauces for the mountain of subs. We could not have been happier with the service we received that day. My only regret is that we did not get the young ladies names so we could credit them properly. They really saved the day for us, and our entire team of hungry runners! Although we were visiting from out of town, we will go out of our way to patronize this location for any future visits, even if it means an additional 45 min drive. They...
Read moreThis is the worst customer service I’ve ever seen. I ordered my food on the mobile app and I saw that it was canceled. I then proceeded to call them to ask them why my order was canceled. She told me “ your order is being worked on now” I had an hour break so I went up there to get my food and I went thru the drive thru because I thought it would be faster. I waited about 10 minutes till someone answered me at the menu. They told me that my order was cancelled because they didn’t have what I ordered so I asked them can I please get a different sub. They asked me to pull around to the window. I wait about an hour at the window waiting for someone to answer and help me and I told them that it still charged my card. She then told me “ my payment will be refunded in 5 buissness Days” I said okay well can I please just pay for another sandwich she said “ yes I can” I continue to wait and not to mention I was so late back to my job from break all because I was not being treated and served the way I was suppose to be. Then after a while I then continued to sit there and a lady popped out the window and asked me to come inside because they’ve had complaints about the drive thru like it was my fault that they were taking forever.
