First i want to begin by saying the ONLY reason this is not less stars is because there are some people who work at this location who are kind and amazing at their job.
NOW, Tonight (8-16-2018 around 9:30) my Husband and I went to bojangles, i wanted a 4 piece supreme combo with a large fry and a large mist twist.
When we initially ordered the young boy taking our order said it would be a 5 minute wait. (We expected this because of the time) we said the wait would be fine and continued to order. After we finished, he told us âwe have homestyle tenders ready now if you dont want to waitâ we appreciated the offer but said we would prefer to wait. When we pulled up to the window he said that they did not have any supreme tenders. He again offered the homestyle tenders that were already ready. We told him not to worry about it we would just get the drink and fries, no chicken.
After a moment or so we heard him try to call for someone to help him remove the tenders from our order. After a minute or so he said to us that in fact they did have the supreme tenders.
At this point we had already waited so long the chicken couldve been cooked and we couldve been on our way. I again told him not to add the chicken, that we just wanted the fries and drink.
We then saw the person who looked to be the manager (a curvy short haired blonde woman, IT WAS NOT DANIELLE, we love Danielle!) walk by and she said yeah thats a five minute wait...
The issue was never the wait, i never complained once about the wait. My issue was the laziness. I understand that it is late and maybe you dont want to âdropâ those tenders, but dont go back and fourth with me about whether or not you have any.
We sat there a little longer waiting for the fries and a younger girl who was also working walked up and asked us if we were a different order we said no. Continued to wait another mintue and finally got our fries. I then realized WE DID NOT GET A RECEIPT!
I have worked retail and this is something that is incredibly frowned upon. Stores earn praise for good surveys and they grow from bad ones. No wonder this place has some employees that rock and some that suck! The good ones are getting the praise they should and the crummy ones arent getting the coaching...
Read moreWe went through the drive thru and my Wife ordered the $5 after 5 meal.
1st: The girl at the drive thru window dropped the food. She quickly looked at us to see if we were watching. Since we were watching, she had the Manager remake the order.
2nd: The $5 after 5 meal consists of a thigh, leg, biscuit and a side. My Wife ordered it with a breast instead of a leg for a $1 extra. Instead of the thigh, they gave her a wing. So, we went back through the drive thru and had them replace the wing with a thigh. The got angry with us.
3rd: As we drove off, my Wife started eating the crust off of the chicken and noticed that the meat looked grey instead of white. I looked through the piece and saw the grey and some of it was white. I then noticed that the breast still had a thigh attached. The meat on the thigh was grey and looked slimy. Blood was there too. We tried to call but the call was dropped as I was explaining the situation. We tried to call back several times getting the message that the location was not accepting any calls.
Went we went into the store, we asked for the Manager. I showed her the grey, slimy meat. The Manager asked if we wanted it replaced. I said âNo, we want our money back.â She quickly processed the refund and expressed concern about the meat being expired.
My Wife asked about the possibility of getting sick since she ate some of the crust. The Manager called over the (older) Shift Manager who confidently said that the meat was undercooked and walked away. The Manager also walked away. The very young workers were looking at each other questioning who cooked that batch. The girl from the drive thru window kept giving my Wife a dirty look.
The Manager came back to the counter and proceeded to dissect the meat in front of us saying that it was fully cooked and that the grey was from blood that wasnât fully drained. I watched her dissect the meat and the grey was NOT from blood. The meat was NOT fully cooked.
This was the first and last time we will get anything from...
Read moreI barely come out to the Bojangles in Denver cause Iâve heard around that they arenât good but tonight I wanted to give them a try. I am a disappointed pregnant lady. Rolled into the drive thru and ordered, seemed nice and welcoming till I get to the window to pay. The guy didnât ask me how I was or anything he acted like he hated his job. When you work in costumer service you need to at least act like your enjoying your time there and not make it seem like you hate your life. Paid for my food and was about to leave the parking lot but I always check my food and of course make sure my tea is sweet. Food was correct, but me being southern my tea wasnât sweet!! He gave me unsweet tea so I go back into the lobby and ask to make sure I can get the sweet tea, even the front cashier lady acted like she hated her job. Well I got home and started eating. My fries were already cold (15 minute drive, fries shouldnât be cold) and they werenât seasoned and the biscuits were flat. I didnât have a good experience at all, Im not the type to (Karen) but I just wanted to put my opinion out there...
