Luis at casa Lola likes to talk back and bad behind your back. He didn’t realize that Andy is Andres in Spanish and heard him and the chef talk bad about its customers on the phone in Spanish. He proceeds tell me that the order I picked up was all there but o specifically told him everything was correct besides one plate, the Arrachera which they only gave me the steak, no salad, no rice and beans. Keep in mind I just ordered this exact same order two days before and everything was perfect. His attitude and customer service was so bad he proceeded to tell me he couldn’t refund me. He offered a dessert or appetizer, ugh no!!! He mentioned he spoke to the owner who also owns Grill 68, and said the owner said no refunds take it or leave it. I have spoken to him many times in person and doesn’t seem like a guy who would say take it or leave it. I’m so saddened and disappointed if that is true because he is the from the same place in Mexico where my family is and that is not how we treat our customers. I took pictures of our order but out of the 8 years I have lived in this area and was the 2nd customer at grill 68, that we were talked about and treated in a horrible manner as we were today. Shame on Luis and shame on the chef in the background talking bad about the people he serves. Next time make sure the people on the phone don’t speak your language. You can keep your dessert and appetizer, we will never be coming back here or...
Read moreI ordered online to be delivered. I did visit the restaurant and saw it to be a high end restaurant. As for the food, it was flavorful, but too high priced for me. Same dishes elsewhere for much lesser price. I may be spoiled, but the chili rellanos I have purchased elsewhere, were twice the size and half the price. Same with the steak fajita. It does come on a bed of tortilla chips, which of course were soggy, but the flavor was there. I personally think the meat could have been a bit more tender. They did make good on the free appetizer you can get if you go online and give a review. I chose the chicken taquitos. Nothing special. You get 4 covered with lettuce and radishes and a sauce. They did forget to give it to me the first time I ordered so I had to go back. Not convenient for me. I also tried the Casa Lola salad. Eh.. Again, too high priced for what it was.I did base the stars on food on price and food portion. Flavor was satisfying. The tables were set prior to you being taken to table. Not my cup of tea. Who knows who may have touched it or what accidentally fell on it while sitting there for who...
Read moreA Delightful Mexican Culinary Experience
Rating: ★★★★☆
I recently had the pleasure of dining at a local Mexican restaurant, and I must say that overall, it was a fantastic experience. While there were a few minor areas for improvement, the food, atmosphere, and customer service were all remarkably good. The restaurant exuded a warm and inviting ambiance. The vibrant colors, Mexican artwork, and carefully selected décor elements created a pleasant and immersive setting. The tables were well spaced.
In conclusion, my experience at this Mexican restaurant was highly enjoyable. The food was undeniably delicious, bursting with authentic flavors that transported me to the heart of Mexico. The inviting atmosphere and attentive customer service added to the overall positive experience. While there were some minor areas for improvement, they did not overshadow the overall excellence of this establishment. I would gladly return and recommend it to anyone seeking a delightful Mexican...
