I would really recommend NOT wasting your money at this location and definitely NOT going through the drive through here.
Friday evening I ordered a Bigger plate at the drive up, with Rice and 3 side orders, which were supposed to be 2 orders of Beijing beef and 1 order of Black pepper steak. What I got was about a one-half order of beijing beef and about one-half order of Black pepper steak - for which I paid a premium of an extra $1.50! The 2 HALF ORDERS of beef each had about 6 small pieces of beef in it and no vegetables, along with about 1 1/2 cups of rather bland l fried rice. When I got home I was absolutely astounded at the cheapness of this meal that I just paid $12 for. Absolutely pitiful. I recommend not going to this location at all but when you're hungry, you're hungry. Some people don't know that SOME Panda express locations used to actually give you a decent amount of food, but not this one! It seems they know how to skimp the portions to increase profits! Another thing - the beijing beef used to actually be a fairly decent quality of fried beef. Now it's just some soggy sweet fried thing that doesn't taste like it used to.
I can tell you one thing for sure - if Mandarin China in Forest Grove ever opens back up, just go there instead! The food is MUCH better, and you get three times the food for the same price. You can...
Read moreI will never go to this Panda Express again. We decided to dine inside and the employees were rude and acted like it was a bother to take our order. They would not acknowledge we were standing there for a good five minutes. I asked if we could get someone to take our order. When we finally placed our order they were out of shrimp so one employee told a food preparer to make the shrimp, and the employee looked up at us and ignored the request. When they asked again the food preparer sneered at us and sauntered over and started making it. We got through the line and they had left out part of the order. They charged me for the shrimp that was not prepared and told me to sit down and they would bring it to me. 15 minutes later I went back to the counter because they had not given me the shrimp..One of the employees finally got the order and brought it to me. She was the only polite one. I felt bad she had to work with such rude co-workers. This is a direct reflection of a poorly run restaurant and poor leadership. I have always treated food servers with the greatest respect and tip them well, but this group acted like they hated being there and hated we came inside to dine. I will never go back. We are happy to take our business...
Read moreThe driveway is too narrow for two cars to get in and out at the same time. Take out containers for "plates" are not recyclable. Menu board is placed right next to ordering speakers therefore causing delays. Food quality varies markedly. Rice is often undercooked and crunchy. Kung Pao chicken has no peanuts and no chili peppers, therefore pretty tasteless. Vegetables are mostly overcooked and mushy. I often find a "bowl" 90% rice with only a few tablespoons of entrée. Overall, very disappointing.
Five years later, my review wouldn't change much. All comments remain the same. I would add that portion size varies markedly as well as quality. Often more rice than entree. The first time I ordered shrimp and steak it was good with plenty of shrimp and well cooked. The second time, there was ONE shrimp and the rest was a mushy mess. Silly me, I ordered it again earlier this week. I was told it was being prepared and I thought - oh good - the food will be fresh and there will be more than one shrimp. Nope. There was no shrimp at all in the soggy mess! Not even one. The sauce packlets I asked for? Nope. There are entrees that are passable when in a hurry but Panda does not qualify...
